How does a fate fail/succeed?

You succeed by doing the objective in the alloted time, you fail if you don't

can someone give a quick rundown on the pros and cons of each tank?

PLD: semi-complex GCD rotation. Has the best self-healing of the tanks. Starts off fairly simple and grows pretty gradually.
WAR: Easy GCD rotation. Has great immediate burst damage. Pretty good self-healing, but it requires another party member for full potential.
DRK: Easiest GCD rotation. Has a lot of damage oGCDs. Probably the worst self-healing of the tanks tied with Gunbreaker, but can provide immediate shielding to a party member or themselves.
GNB: Easy GCD rotation with a fairly complex/button-mashy burst rotation. Pretty decent burst damage.
In terms of their damage and overall mitigation, all the tanks are super balanced in comparison to each other.
The general DPS range between the top tank, Gunbreaker, with the lowest tank, Dark Knight, is about a 2-4% difference in damage.

Just rotate between all the yellow scrip nodes that Rowena's House wants for the day and collect as many as you can.
There's also Custom Deliveries as a cheap/quick method of weekly Yellow Crafter or Gatherer scrips

Leveling's experience scales based on level and the dungeon you get from it.
So if you're lucky and get a higher level dungeon you'll get some more experience out of it.
Also 36% of your bar from a single roulette is pretty good. 👀

I think macros are most useful when the timing of the skill doesn't really matter, like on the teleport. This glamour uses "Taffeta Loincloth" which seems to share the same model as "Coliseum Loincloth", but in the link above the little "Frilly" skirt piece is missing. Does it disappear when combined with the other glamour pieces? Or was this modded? The attached image shows what the preview looks like for me.

Leveling a tank is fast if you don't mind doing it from 1. You get double exp on monsters due to armoury bonus so it's quite fast

It doesn't have role restrictions (1 tank 1 healer 2 DPS) like normal dungeons so DPS can queue in quicker and it's really good xp. The best floor to spam is 51-60 and it can be a bit slow to get to that checkpoint but it's great for DPS, bit boring after a while though
