I've played all of them to max level and I can confidently say MNK is probably the least well designed of the 4 melee jobs due to it's extreme reliance of a rear positional. It's not very interesting outside of a job gauge that occasionally fills when you get a crit and just being fast
(and you have the ability to ignore positionals up to 40 seconds every minute so i find it the least interesting, personally.)

Damage is locked in at the instant that the indicator disappears, but doesn't happen until the animation happens
so there is a moment where it's too late to get out but not too late to get healed

You'll use Benefic more at lower levels, but Benefic 2 more later because it's simply a more powerful heal, and you'll have other tools better suited to the spot healing that Benefic would otherwise be used for.

The ironworks gear is only really great if you need it for your current classes. Otherwise I usually go to || Idyllshire || (which is an exp story location and get the stuff to turn in for top soils. You can check on some of the tradeable mats you can redeem in MorDhona and see what things you can make a profit off of in the meantime
