So at base sps Ruin I has effectively a ~2.6s delay between uses, which Ruin II has a 2.5s delay between uses. You can also account for the lost autos spamming Ruin I, but that's insignificant at level 50. Even with those mitigating factors, it's still a gain to use Ruin I as much as you can. @brave loom

Main Story Quest gear rewards and the occasional dungeon drops should keep you up to date for the most part, but you can always buy something from a vendor in town if you notice a certain piece of gear starting to fall way behind in level. It's not very important at that level, but becomes a bit more important later on.

Aside from Bahamut, all of the raids are in the daily "roulettes", so people do them all the time.
It's very dissimilar to WoW because all instance content has a level sync function.
Think Timewalking, but in addition to your level syncing down, your higher level abilities are also sealed, so it's as though you're actually playing at that level again.

@odd bobcat You need a GCD of at most 2.43 to fit 5 GCDs in Blood Weapon/Delirium, though that's with no clipping at all and near-perfect activation of the skill. I recommend 2.40-2.38 for a bigger window of error.
