Take note that for Scholar and Summoner, it works the same way, it only finish the job quests for the job you boost
If you boost a summoner, you get Scholar at lvl 70, but none of the job quests completed

I made a macro that had something funny so that when I go into dung or whatever I had a process to remember or something that would trigger "wait do I have tank stance on?"
I've since.. Removed the macro and now don't need it anymore, so it's helped me always turn it on just incase it's off.

I just always make sure my tank stance gauge is located somewhere that I can't miss on my HUD
So if the stance turns off, it's the first thing I notice, and I can go turn it back on.

I know its not a question but i do remember paladin tanking in lower dungs without shield oath, I think sword oath was before then and you could only "flash spam" for aoe aggro and that was it. lol. I kinda miss it but also kinda dont. WAR tank stance was my favourite but yeah tanking now has become a lot more easier and with that being said.. I still remembered to not have my tank stance as a GNB lol

Just started Astrologian! I see you can draw out one of six cards for team buffs, but what’s the purpose of having six when there’s only two different effects shared between six cards? Why not condense it down to 2 cards other than for aesthetic/ lore reasons?

Shared bars stay the same between all jobs. Unshared bars are specific to each job. If you want to have a button be the same on all jobs that's on an unshared bar, you'll have to add it yourself for each job.

Ok, so hotbar 1,2,3 are unshared, so they change between jobs. The rest stay the same when you switch.
If you want to hide 4 and 7 on all jobs but tanks, you'll have to use separate hud layouts, or make a macro button to toggle them on/off.

They'll still technically be there, but with empty button slots
Although you'll have to put your stuff on them for each tank since they wont be shared anymore

its because i keep things organised in my head throughout all jobs (relatively speaking) AoE's are associated with the numbers (4, so hotbar1 button 4, hotbar 2 button CTRL4, hotbar 3 SHIFT4, hotbar 4 SHIFTF because it's in-line with the row of 4s)
C and F buttons which are on hotbar7 usually are abilities which are used in niche moments so I have access to them but I rarely use them for anything other TB's or I see MNKS in AoE so I press "cover" for them etc

Your actions are grouped into weaponskills/spells and abilties. The former's casting time and cooldown can be reduced by skillspeed and spellspeed. The latter can't be reduced through stats.

Monk is fast punchy boi, lots of self buffs and has a raid buff and Mantra is nice. Every attack is a positional
Sam is selfish dps, cycles through 3 combos to do a big weebabo slash for TONS OF DAMAGE.jpg...no raid buffs, has 2 positionals
Drg has a very static rotation and more about optimizing jumps and managing Life of the Dragon windows. Has battle litany and Dragon sight for buffs..has 3 positionals
Ninja is the trick attack boi, mudras are nice and can somewhat be a pseudo ranged temporarily, has Huton for a fast GCD but not as fast as monks greased lightning, has 2 positionals
