It is possible some players reported you for "trolling" Shiva EX unsync, it can count as disrupting playstyle, but i honestly think you did nothing wrong, Shiva EX is still a nasty primal to deal with even unsync.

After you do your class quest at level 10 you get the ability to unlock every class for 1 character

Once you hit 60 you can use Yellow Scrips to spend on gear (Augmented job-specific set) that will carry you most of the way to 70, same for the set (Landking) at 70 for 70-80

at 70 i got the yellow scrips gear (landking), and that took me to 80
there were several levels where I could only collect like one item for turn ins though since I cheaped out on gear upgrading

with 470 gear being easily farmable, it's pretty much the minimum requirement for ruby ex and eden's verse savage, and for higher floors of savage like e7s and e8s around 480-485
but generally you want to get the highest ilvl possible to make dps and heal checks easier
cause a lot of the players are not so great at the game, so while a group of good players can clear e8s with i480 crafted gear on week 1, some more casual players might struggle with the dps check even at i490-i500 multiple weeks after the tier release

If you're trying to Duty Finder normal mode: DPS have the longest queues, use healers or tanks if you don't want to wait 9000 years
If you're trying to find Savage, EX, or Ultimate Content: Duty finder roulette does not apply for those, so try party finder

I've dabbled in triple triad but I've never seen an NPC drop a card when beaten, have I been unlucky or is the drop rate garbage? or do they only drop if you've beaten the npc at least once?

iirc, the ones in the Gold Saucer were pretty easy to beat, and had a decent drop rate on their reward cards.

Oh yeah, you definitely have to beat the same NPC multiple times to get their cards to drop. It's very rare for them to drop on the first try.
Getting cards for TT NPCs is a grind.
And the ones that drop two or more cards all have one card that's super rare to drop, so you'll spend a thousand years playing them and never get it.

most newer routers have the 2.4ghz and a 5ghz broadcast
the 5ghz has a shorter range, but much higher capacity, so downloads are far faster
