While many people do play dps classes, that's because dps slots in any given group are less limited. If you're asking because you want to know which job to start with, that shouldn't be a consideration. You can play all jobs on a single character.

Honestly the only times when it gets really difficult to know where to go for the next job quest is when you start getting into the HW job quests. Those and the Stormblood ones pick up where they leave off, location-wise, so if you forget where the last quest ended, you can easily lose track of where to go back to.

@wanton lintel they're really not though. everything happens in the exact same order every time. it's just faster than you might be used to from dungeons. there is a solution for every mechanic - watch what others do or look up guides if you're having trouble parsing things visually.

The nice thing is if you don't swap around, you can skip gearing for one of them until max level. Then you gear the other one and go back and do all the job quests for it.
