@wanton lintel keep DoTs up, use filler, put a song up when available. As far as songs go, for single target you want to go Wanderer's Minuet for 30s -> Mage's Ballad for 30s -> Army's Paeon for 20s, then start again with minuet. For AoE, ballad > minuet > paeon
for procs in minuet, use when you get 3 stacks of pitch perfect. For procs in ballad, use them when they proc (bloodletter single target, rain of death 2+ targets). Paeon procs just kinda happen on their own

IS there anyway to have target cycle not rapidly trigger if tab is held down? I use a joypad on the side of a Tartarus pro for tab targeting and strafing but if I accidentally hold the joypad just a little too far up it holds tab and the targeter goes crazy. Target nearest kind of works but then I cant tab again to select the other mob right next to his friend.

Even for the most current EX trials, players rarely use Duty Finder for it.
For older EX, it is recommended to do them with unsync party: going in with less than 8 players but they are way overlevel, for example, lvl 50 Ifrit EX can be comfortably handled by 2 lvl 70 players
