as a general rule of thumb for the various oGCD for BLM, you generally want to use them roughly on cd at the next available weaving opportunity. Things get cozy for weaving especially once you have triplecast at level 66+, and then later xenoglossy at 80. The guide linked should be able to give some info, but just wanted to give you a more shorthand answer @leaden ginkgo
