Run content enough and high ping/low reaction time won't matter. You'll learn exactly how long you have to react to a given mechanic, and eventually gain the muscle memory to be able to react appropriately.
Same for rotations - do the actions enough, and you'll learn exactly how many weaves you can get into your rotation. It's mostly about practice.

@rough anchor It's somewhat impossible to get into an EX if you queue up for it normally. People don't run them synced anymore, and they're not in any roulette except Mentor Roulette
So whether you'd like to try to find a synced group or do it unsynced to get it out of your log, Party Finder is recommended either way

Gunbreaker is on a 30/60s rotation, not too hard to practice, but harder to bend around. Warrior's on a 90s cycle while you need to maint your attack buff and keep your Infuriate from capping

there's no way to do logic or switching in macros
they always read commands from the top to the bottom
so if your top command in a macro is "increase volume," and your second line is "decrease volume," it will increase and then decrease every time you press the button

if you start over the only thing to keep in mind really is there's 2 subscriptions you can buy when you get there
as a tldr if you want more than 1 character on one server it costs a couple dollars extra
so you'd need to delete your current character (make sure you don't have anything you need) or make it on a new server
