I tend to disagree with @raw solstice . As a healer, when someone dies I'm hitting my Swiftcast + Raise as quickly as I can. If a dps (like SMN or RDM) pre-empts that, then I've lost out on the ability to Swiftcast Raise someone for the next 60 seconds, wasting the cooldown.

@quasi flint Basically go to C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn and find the file that's your character. It will be named something like "FFXIV_CHR0040002E930EA07E" or something. Copy all the .DAT files out of it, and copy it over to your other character. It will copy everything from your hotbars, gear sets (which can have... interesting reactions), macros, et cetera.

@hearty garden Aurum Vale speedruns (especially with BLU group) seems to be quick, but you really need a bit of a premade for it to make sense to do. Outside of that Prae seems like a cozy option that you can DF and there's minimal effort required/you can watch or do other stuff while cutscenes play

@twin kelp you can't highlight your own buffs, but you can make them bigger/you can move them on your HUD if needed. But for something like twin snakes, you should generally keep it up naturally by rotating between DK -> twin and BS->true pairs every other cycle

nah as far as I'm aware we've only made the one for BLM, since it has pretty notable changes in rotation (particularly AoE) along the way as you level, some that might not be quite as intuitive as other jobs

the general progression is: get dwarven gear > meld it so you can craft facet > meld facet
you can also go for white scrips but they're not going to be as good as overmelding dwarven for stats

most people aren't going to bother with white scrip gear. They're going to farm out the 7/8 materia they need to overmeld dwarven
waiting for a starred tincture/syrup day and then go crazy with turn ins
but that said, there are rotations out there that the white scrip gear can use so long as you use food/syrup
would also recommend going specialist for the stat boost
