The normal difficulty raids are made to be done with random people.
As for the Savage/Extreme Difficulty ones, they can still be done with random people, but reading a guide and knowing a proper strategy goes a long way
along with good old practice.
Having a dedicated group to do Extreme/Savage Content with (AKA a static) is also a plus, as you can rely on the same people every week or however often your group runs the content

Hi there! I have a question regarding NA/EU servers and ping. I'm from NA but would like to play with friends on a EU server.
My ping on an NA server: Minimum: 44ms, Maximum: 57ms, Average: 50ms.
My ping on an EU server: Minimum: 195ms, Maximum: 201ms, Average: 198ms.
I will be playing Bard and Dancer (unsure if this detail matters or not). Would you advise against joining an EU server personally? I'm not sure how bad things will be

some of the 60 dungeons have some un-fun mechanics for soloing, and you get past them by.. living for 20s as a frog, for example

Dusk Vigil can be a bit faster but the first boss can stun you often
Aery is pretty slow due to the forced add phase for the last boss unless you can burst him hard enough
Vault is also a bit slow due to the first and second bosses transforming

Saber price will come up only if your DPS isn't enough. I have soloed this dungeon with SCH and DRG in Stormblood (I was working on Anima weapons during slower time of the day)
SCH barely fly by, I had to place a ground AOE (this skill is removed in ShB) just as Nid cast the spell

you can try them to get a feel for the difficulty but when 5.2 drops no one will be doing e1-4s
and it's like a week left so you should probably focus on things like mastering your job etc on a dummy for example, if you're new to endgame

depends on how you level up, because unless you choose culinarian you'll need materials from the other crafting classes
which means buying them or relying more on daily and weekly sources of experience instead of grinding leves or the ishgardian restoration

Monk moves about very often to hit positionals, has greased lightning to reduce their gcd...and doesn't really have a static rotation, more "conditional" based of "is my buff for this stance up? Yes press the damage skill else preas buff skill"

And monk pretty much is complete at 50, their gcd set doesn't really change after that...just gets stuff added ontop of a few oGCDs and traits

Hey, I'm looking up the information on Odin's spawn, and it says the FATE spawns every few days. Are we talking about RL days or In Game days? (I'm think RL days since it makes more sense)
Also, other than the weather being a defining factor, how else can you find out if he's spawning or not? Can Kupo Bot help?

there are some sites out there that can help keep track of when he can potentially spawn, but they're all player run so if no one flags the site for when he was last killed then it can be off
i would strongly suggest finding a hunk linkshell/discord
