The class quests are in Limsa or the areas around but your MSQ is only different till level 10 of your first job since you can switch classes on a dime

That's not exactly true
Your main story will be in Gridania until level 15 main story where you go to the other cities and the MSQ merges together into one
If you want to be arcanist you have to wait for that point anyway since you can't travel it it before hand due to it being on an island @leaden ginkgo
So by the point you can even get arcanist you're MSQ will get out of the Gridania only main story segment
The annoying part would be leveling arcanist back up to level whatever you want from level 1

but when every job gets their whole kit and jobs get to where they're balanced (around max level), DNC personal dps isn't as OP as it is when leveling
it's still good damage, and the buffs they bring make up for their personal dps being a bit lower
but it's not like they do "bad damage" or anything, by any stretch

Sure you have less to do with buttons but you have more responsibility in terms of mechanics because you don't have to hug the boss's behind.

I have a question about PLD rotation. I saw on the sub that the AoE rotation is Total Eclipse > Circle of Scorn > Prominence. I would've thought you'd want the DoT up for longer. Is it because TE and Prominence are on GCD and CoS isn't?

He will give you the option to travel to the Lavender Beds districts.

you can clear any and all content plenty fine on any job, AST is pretty strong still, just not as good at brute force healing like WHM can be. But it does have cards, neutral sect is a very powerful tool that's basically "press this button and people live through the mechanic". It's a different healer job, not especially a weaker one

But a smallish amount of people do use aesthetic mods
There is a parser which is used by a majority of raid teams but it is a donβt-ask, donβt-tell situation ingame and calling out others ingame for their low DPS can easily lead to GM action for harassment.
Addons to help indicate mechanics like in WoW are extremely frowned upon and where they do exist SE take steps to combat them. They have a hard stance against such things and the community in general will also judge users of them very poorly. Things like that will not be shared in this Discord.
This game is not balanced around addons like WoW.

Kuzuuryu, you should be able to just install to the new drive to create the directories, then copy and paste from the old drive. So it shouln't take long

You might be able to use a vpn to get through your router, if it is throttling your game strem for other people's movies. You can try a cheap vpn first to see if it helps.

make sure the vpn works with your mobile hotspot. I have a good vpn that I play FF and everything else with, but a lot of VPNs don't work with gaming.

I can't use my mobile hotspot to play, I just wanted to see if the problem was from firewall/pc or if it was from internet, I only have 9g/month of data on my phone so I can't play ffxiv with it

Check if the vpn works with the hotpsot when gaming. If it doesn't then you need another vpn that will, then try THAT vpn with your network.

im on preferred server so i have exp bonus and i know that its up to 70 lvl and last for 90 days. but if i hit 70 lvl will it remove? if so i need to swap to other class when my main is 69?

nah, you'll lose it on the higher level job, but when you swap to something lower level you'll get the buff back
