Trials and Normal Raid don't give much but are very fast to do

The run itself, in terms of time at the controls, is actually pretty short. If you were to count only the times you were in control, it would be like 10-15 minutes. Cutscenes give you time to make a sandwich or something though lol.

Relics are only good for glamour, yeah. The time investment is not equal. You'll far outlevel it long before you finish. Totally cool if you still want to do it but the gearing purposes are obsolete. TL;DR, yeah just cosmetic these days.

@ebon kindle Double checked the thing and guess they’re right. It only locks if you have a full preformed. You’ll still get it if you have 2 or 3. So in this particular case, it sounds like the bonus switched to another role while you were in queue.
That would probably be the only reason why the bonus didn’t apply

Finding a healer that does lots of instant casts is gonna be difficult unless you want OGCD instant casts, most abilities for casters in general have atleast a 1.5s cast time and can go up to I think 5s or so of a cast time depending on the skill though the rez skills are the only ones I remember having a huge cast. But keep in mind that OGCD casts for healers are meant to not be your primary healing abilitiy iirc though a Mentor would be able to tell you more about it if you ping one @strong falcon

Dancer, Bard, and Red Mage are the most reactive jobs. they operate more on basic proc systems. that's not to say that they don't have rotation, but they've got closer to a priority system for most of their spells than a strict rotation

it really depends on the content, for normal and extreme trials it's kinda whatever because you have enough cooldowns for everything as any tank
there's some preferences in savage but that depends on the fight too, mostly to maximize the usage of tank invulns on tank busters
like if there's a PLD they're gonna pull first and invuln the first buster because hallowed has the longest cooldown

People generally care more about how easy it is to pull with your tank and execute an optimal opener than the actual mitigation

so the earlier you use hallowed the better chances you'll have an use for it near the end of the fight
so if you're not doing savage it's basically whatever, whoever calls MT first or whoever zones in with their tank stance on, or whoever's a monkey and vokes off the other guy 10s into the pull for no reason
it should have almost zero effect on your dps either way

I skipped my Ninja from 30 to 60 in Stormblood because I wanted to play ninja on post game contents asap.

You use it whenever you need a lot of aoe healing
Note that it can trigger multiple times over the 10 second duration, which makes it very powerful when you need to do sustained AoE healing
