@soft jay Once again all classes can be played easily to high proficiency on controller. It depends on if you're using the controller to it's utmost or not. Turn on the double trigger tap crossbar and the Left trigger+Right trigger crossbars and you can get to 32+ skills/actions all without having to cycle your crossbar like crazy since those options make it easier to use a controller AND have all skills on your crossbar at any given time.

But if you want something with less involved in terms of complexity you could try something like red mage which has a very fluid and reactive rotation not reliant on positionals

Or Arcanist/Warrior would work too for early game tbh but ultimately once you master the utilization of the crossbar on controller it just comes back to how well you know any given class since they're all easy to learn though some are harder to master than others.

I would recommend getting one class to max first though that way it's easier to level other classes via the armory bonus but ultimately as long as you know your crossbar binds and your class it's easy peasy for the most part so play how you want we're only giving advice after all.

Yes, you can be any job on a character. You'll just have to level them depending on how high your level is and how high of a level the job starts off at. Also GNB, DNC, RDM, SAM, DRK, AST, and MCH all require an expansion to play as but as long as you have Shadowbringers you should be fine on that end.

I would recommend leveling one job up to max before putting a lot of time and effort into leveling more jobs though just so you have the armory EXP bonus stacked ontop of the rested bonus and the roulette daily bonuses.

As for rotation, for the most part you just try to emulate the endgame rotations with the stuff you have available. The only real exception is Black Mage since they change quite a lot in their leveling process

About half of the dialogue in main quests are voiced. Started out that way because the first part of the game was slapped together for no money in only two years after the disaster that was 1.0. They did what they could and had to cut some corners with presentation but it got worked out eventually.

If you have Missile then you'll want to kill stuff equal to your level for faster kills

Leveling from 30 to 50 wasn't too hard, I felt an increase since around 55 or so though and require more dungeon runs per level now.
(Doing highest lv non lv50/60 dungeons)

The xp curve is fairly consistent between 60 and 80. It should average about 7 runs of your highest level dungeon to get to the next dungeon tier

Those expansion thresholds are a bit of a pain, yeah. 60-61 and 70-71 are kind of a drag. Nothing a couple roulettes won't solve.

nope, the exp bonus is tiny, it only matters if you're going for the extra gil or materia tokens at higher levels

it's the daily bonus that's huge, and it's separate from adventurer in need
