for alisaie, she's using a modified astral/chivalric coat of healing/casting, angelic thighboots, and republican medicus' wrist torque

any booty shorts or short skirt should do fine for her set up, just needs to be covered by the coat

Take with a grain of salt, I might be incorrect, but I don't think class composition matters too much.
I've sent 4 tanks and have missions succeed.
What matters is getting the stats in the top of the screen to be positive, regardless of class comp.

classes matter in the way that they are the thing that changes stats basically

so long as you meet two of the stat requirements for a mission you're basically not going to fail. If it's a flagged mission it has to meet all 3 stat requirements

It's good to level up as you progress, though. That makes it easier to learn the gameplay.

@uncut lava late to this but if you just unlocked a newly boosted jobs or an expansion job with 20 skills you don't understand

My advice is

• find a striking dummy
• remove all skills off your hotbar
• add skills back one by one by the order you learn them. read the tooltip and use that skill on the dummy

This will simulate "leveling up" a job and learning new skills from leveling up.

Should give you a decent start on how to play a new job.

Also from earlier--you use the thundercloud proc whenever the DoT is falling off or the proc is about to expire. You can certainly use it before F1 in AF if it falls under these conditions at that time

also just gonna toss out a few pings to make sure folks get these corrections @hoary storm @stable herald

there's enough flexibility in AF timer that you can fit an extra cast in both before and after F1 mid-AF regularly, so it's not too bad to fit the T3 hardcast or proc in there wherever, and you can even shift around F4 casts to help with this too as needed/desired--i.e. instead of doing 3-1-3 you can do 2+ proc -1-4

@mint shale I feel like Place and Heel are useful, especially in dungeons where I'm often far from the tank. Also one of the Edens have this Stillness thing where you can't move or cast, and fairy casts count, so Away or Steady (idk) are useful.

I actually wonder how Sic interacts with fairies.

Can someone explain the end game token/tomestone gearing stuff? It seems overly complicated.

You get loot normally just like a dungeon in a 8 man raid. Obviously 8 man, only 1 person get loot is kinda hard to gear up.
If you lose the roll, fear not. You get a token.
Get enough tokens (4 or so) per fight and you can directly buy the gear you wanted from a vendor. This way, you cannot be stuck because of bad luck rolling or not having class specific gear drop for you.

Tomestone works similarly, in 1 week you can earn a certain amount of tomestone and you can trade tomestone for gear. This way, you are getting gear even if you dont raid but alot slower than the raiders.

Because ff gear change with every patch so thing like this is a god send for casual or new player
