if you juggle the MSQ quests properly you can keep at least two, possibly 3 jobs at your MSQ level. You might not be able to keep them all at the same gear level without doing sidequests/crafting/buying from npc vendors though

Hi. I started the game recently. I'm still on free trial but I'm definitely going to buy the game.
The thing is, I'm already lvl 27 but my friend, who's also going to start playing is lvl 1. I'm willing to create a new char and play with him to the point that he's lvl 27, so that we can keep playing together but I'll switch to my first toon. However, I'm only allowed to create one character on a world as a free trial. Is there any way around this? What do you offer? We're going to recruit each other after we reach level cap of 35 on free trial. Thanks in advance.

ok, so here's my question, and here's where i'm at -- ||just finished that scene in heavensward epilogue, where the warriors of darkness met up with the warriors of light, and it was revealed that urianger had been two timing the warriors of darkness to do something. now this is where i'm confused... what did urianger do exactly? he planned minfilia's death to save "the first"? what is the first? this second world of hydaelyn? i did some googling and hydaelyn = "the source". and "the first" is a world in "the source". so what is eorzea/etc on? i haven't gone further down the story than this, but i do know - from some googling - that "the first" was once sort of balanced by light/dark, but now there's too much light, which is why the warriors of darkness is called as such. and then later on in shadowbringers, the warrior of light goes and bring some darkness back to "the first" i guess?? idk||

He knew that Minfilia went to the lifestream where she got picked up by Hydaelyn (the crystal not the world for absolute clarity) so that she can act as an agent of Her will. Using this information, the next part of his plan was to set up the fight between you and the Warrior's of Darkness so that you can give your crystals up to Hydaelyn so she can get enough strength to send Minfillia to The First so she can save it from the flood of light that is obliterating it. As to what the First is (and what Industrial accidentally said without spoiler tags, is another world. You would have heard from Minfilia/Hydaelyn already that the world was split into 14 after she beat Zodiark. The First is one of those "shards." For clarity again that's 13 shards and our world "The Source." I won't get into Shadowbringers stuff because spoilers but yes the whole point the Warrior's of Darkness came here was to cause a calamity on the Source so that their world can be rejoined to the Source. It'd kill everyone on The First but at least their aether would go back to the lifestream and in a weird twisted way they'd live on. If their world was to be entirely consumed by the light then nothing would exist anymore basically. No living on whatsoever no matter how you twist it. Also for the cause of the flood. Arbert mentions it was kinda their fault for being too good at their job and beating the ascians in The First|| @shell dagger

I finally unlocked flying in the dravanian forelands and I wanted to make a party to do the dragonskin map I found. However, I've never done a map that wasn't 1 person only before so I don't know how I'm supposed to go about it (or what it will be like). Does everyone just roll on everything if we're successful? Will there be enough for everyone? If I use party finder will people be able to join even though I already deciphered the map?

sometimes special items will show up on a loot roll table thing where people need greed or pass it but most of the stuff you get is randomly assorted. Also you can make a party so long as you do it BEFORE you dig up the chest
Generally the unspoken rule of maps is if it's that person's map and the loot table thing comes up for a material the owner of the map can need the item and everyone else will pass up on it

A couple of reasons. Supposedly people intentionally remove gear to lower their ilvl so theyโre ineligible for the other raids, but every time I get a CT thereโs at least one new person. So itโs most likely just a ton of people who have yet to unlock the other Alliance raids. Itโs very common recommendation for new and returning players and itโs not often suggested to unlock the other ones

If you just bought the game and have the free 30 days it gives you then I'm pretty sure you can't sub again till those first 30 days are up.

That's what others have said, and that's the only thing that would make sense for his issue is if the free 30 days that came with the game are still running and he can't change the sub until the free 30 days are over. Literally the only thing that makes sense with the info he's given us. Worse comes to worse Hyoh you'll need to contact SE and ask them what's up.
