think it's character bound, you're paying extra for each retainer so if you buy more retainers you'll be able to hire the extra on any character, but if you hire them all on one character then the extra "sub fee" is spent

I'd almost recommend BRD for a beginner, except that once you start getting songs, you have to learn how to weave them and their effects into your rotation so there's always a song going.

@full compass if you play Summoner to 50 and don't like it, you could swap to a level 50 Red Mage or Samurai. Or you could play Summoner to 60 then decide to switch to a level 60 Gunbreaker or Dancer. You wouldn't LOSE your Summoner. You just start that class AT those levels.

to be perhaps a bit more specific, the quests don't make you one job or the other, they give you a soulstone that you equip on arcanist to take on the summoner or scholar job

for ARR leves, the levemetes don't show all of the possible leves

#

you can try checking in ul'dah if its there (since its like the main hub for the zone and they show all of them iirc) but at the levemete itself it'll only show like 2/4 out of 4/6

so might need to pick up a leve or two and do it to get the one you want

AITA: one dps afks from start of dungeon because queued with the tank and is "taking care of IRL stuff". tank refuses to use any CDs and i, the healer, am forced to spam heal rather than assist in DPS. i get fed up and leave and receive nasty PM

I need help and don't know where to turn! I reached lvl 35 in the trial and bought the game+expansions on the SE store (PC). Got the activation code and received error i2501 when entering it in the mogstation. I spoke to a rep who told me to wait 24 hours. Tried that. Nothing. Rep told me to wait 24 hours then try from my phone. Did that nothing. Next rep told me to wait 24 hours again. I did, and STILL receiving the error code. I want to play the freagin game I bought!! If you're about to hit 71 poetic gear in Rhalgar's reach would be good. I think it lasts up until level 73-74 in 5.0 MSQs but it could be a bit lower than that.
