So I see some people riding huge companions. For example, one of my minions is Goobbue Sproutling, and I've seen someone riding one of the huge Goobbue as a mount. Idk what these minions do they just follow me around, and don't participate in fights like the Chocobo does. Also I've seen someone ride a Chocobo and the bird was huge af. Do these grow as they level up.

There are many mounts in the game.
The system is not related to minions.
The goobbue mount comes from ranking up in the sylph faction beast tribe quests.
They're daily-repeatable quests that unlock somewhere in the level 40--50 range and increase your reputation with the friendly sylph faction, progressing a faction story along the way.

Quests are pretty easy to get un-lost. The description panels give a lot more information than WoW does, including telling you exactly which zone you need to go to, and showing you where the objective is on the map when you're not in the correct zone.

usually mechanics line up with triplecast usage for example, sometimes it doesn't and you have to save triple or lose uptime
or using leylines more as an anchor than a dps cooldown like on crumbling down in e4s (for car first)

@drifting crest it's a lot more easygoing than people give it credit for. In prog you mainly just use stuff on cd and still get some good damage/casting in, and you adjust pull to pull (like any other job should be doing, too). You generally don't have to hold a bunch of cd's or anything, especially since BLM has more frequent mobility now too than they used to, it's actually rare that you end up holding oGCD other than just waiting to use them at the next weaving window
