The gist is that you use the hotbars of classes that you’ve unlocked the job upgrade for as like save slots for certain hotbar layouts
Since like
Gladiator hotbars are saved separately from paladin hotbars, but once you’ve unlocked paladin there is zero reason to ever use gladiator again

being dps can make you super focused on rotations because they have considerably harder rotations compare to tanks.
so your goal is to do the rotation as best as you can, while doing your mechanics right.
that's about it.
don't immerse yourself too hard on rotation or you'd die from mechanics.

Samurai, most people agree is on the slightly easier side. i personally find it super hard lol.
Dancer is pretty easy in terms of rotation.
Samurai is like a closed-range caster kinda.
with dancer, there's no cast time on any skill so you can move around and attack all you want.
dancer is also proc based. so your rotation changes slightly based on what was proc'd
can't say much about Samurai since i didn't enjoy playing it and don't know much.
also with dancer, you're like a support/dps. Sammurai is nearly pure DPS and has a very high DPS ranking atm. Dancer on the other hand has a much lower DPS ranking.
other suggestion when switching from tank to a dps is... find something to do while you're waiting in the queue. you'll be waiting around 15.30 minutes for a dungeon/trial.

aggro is generated by your damage, tank stance makes it so that you generate a lot more aggro then normal. so if MT didn't attack the mob, you'll have the aggro for sure.

Yeah, ultimately it depends on whether you're comfortable with the ping. My advice is to try playing for a bit and if you feel uncomfortable from the "disjointed" feeling, you can consider whether to move your character or get a VPN to lessen the burden

your rotation should be muscle memory so you can focus on doing the mechanics without having to question what you need to do for your rotation
