Custom Deliveries requires a level 60 to unlock. Normal collectable turn-ins just require level 50.

The items given at the end of the marriage is decided by the cheapest choice done

Though if you only have flower (1 sen) and doesnt need to re-apply dot, you can nom sen then finish the flower (or if dot timer is low, reapply dot then continue)

The main story eventually gets locked behind doing Ifrit Titan Garuda hard mode fights which are obtained from the Waking Sands in a bluequest quest chain

So I'm really bad at timelines and stuff, am I correct in this interpretation of the timeline: Sharlayans lived and thrived for X amount of time, then when the Levellieur twins were infants, Garlemald invaded their homeland so they flew off to somewhere else and let Garlemald just kind of take the country. (Matoya was a stubborn hag so she instead went underground.) Then the twins grew up in the new Sharlayan.

A little over 200 years ago, they established a colony on the Eorzean mainland, in the Dravanian Hinterlands. In time this grew to be a city on par with the other Eorzean city-states. This city was also called Sharlayan—for simplicity’s sake I’ll refer to it as New Sharlayan.

Sharlayan is pacifistic to an extreme degree, so when the Empire came knocking on Eorzea‘s doorstep 20 years ago and annexed Ala Mhigo Sharlayan didn’t like the look of it much.

So 15 years ago New Sharlayan finished their preparations, packed up and just left.

Quite new to ffxiv here. Just finished my level 50 job quest and got "Wyrm's Armor Coffer". The only problem is the "use" function is greyed out. I tried almost everything up to the point where I give all my armor/gear to my retainer, restarted my pc (for some reason idk just didn't wanna go down without a fight lol), as well as opening it in a city. Send help

It doesn't, you can only get aetherpool levels on floors that is half of your aetherpool level, so once you get to 21, floor 1-10 won't work anymore for aetherpool levels.

HoH is Floor/4 afaik.

You can have a piece of gear, put it on a plate and dye it there and that dye is saved for that piece of gear for that plate. You could then put it on another plate for example and dye it another colour and the plates would have two different dyed versions of the same glove for example

That's the only way you can really have two different dyes of the same piece of gear without just getting it twice

I would hoard every piece but just keep a nice sort of...ladder where you have pieces when you should start replacing them. There is no harm in hoarding them either but if your retainers can't take anymore just...stop

I'm having an issue with summoner. Whenever I cast 'Fountain of Fire' in Firebird Trance it targets my pet afterward for some reason and I have to re-target the enemy EVERY time. You can pick up one of the higher level classes, such as Samurai or Red Mage at 50, so you've essentially skipped 1-50 with your 2nd class

What I do is I’ll go through the msq with a single job, then slowly level other jobs one at a time

So with Wondrous Tails, the level 50 and 70 dungeons. They have to be exactly level 50 or 70 to count? Or “at least” 50 and 70? I’ve gotten level say, 51 and 53 dungeons in Roulette and not gotten WT credit. Is that a bug or am I missing something?

For low levels it’s mainly sidequests, the hunting log, and fates

#

And then once you can do dungeons you can spam them and do the daily leveling roulette

#

There’s also Palace of the dead which is a grindy way of leveling up

Heavensward Expansion Jobs: Dark Knight (Tank), Astrologian (Healer), and Machinist (Ranged DPS). These jobs start at level 30 and require ownership of the Heavensward Expansion and the completion of the level 50 main scenario quest "Before the Dawn".

Stormblood Expansion Jobs: Red Mage (Caster DPS) and Samurai (Melee DPS). These jobs start at level 50 and require ownership of the Stormblood Expansion and a disciple of war or magic job at level 50.
Quest Unlock Locations: Red Mage - Ul'dah(14,17). Samurai - Ul'dah(9,9).

Base classes are only a requirement for ARR jobs, i.e. jobs that start at level 1

#

Expansion jobs start at higher levels and have no base class requirement

#

For the jobs that require base classes, the job is just an extension of the class

#

You basically just get a name upgrade, from a gameplay point of view

#

So lancer becomes dragoon

#

Dragoon still has all the lancer skills and starts getting more skills that are thematically to do with dragoon
