#Racing App Minor Issue?

Heyo! My server just started using cw-racingapp after essentially getting ripped off by another app being completely busted.

Nothing aside from Config has been changed except for locking races to their class rather than classes lower being able to join higher class races.

We noticed today that the option to leave the race goes away about 10 seconds into it starting, wondering if theres a remedy for this or maybe something that was missed in config.

Aside from that, so far we're loving it. More features than any paid racing script out there and user friendly for both devs and players alike 🙂

Should note - no F8 errors or server console errors as well

It seems to be fine on the upcoming-update version at least.

I don't have the current version (the one on github) available.

Not sure if this was fixed in the patch that came the other day. Are you on the latest version?

OTherwise, it'll be fixed when the next major version comes out

W'ere currently on the one prior to the class update that just released

Yeah that one might have contained a fix for this.

Not 100% sure actually 😅 The latest one, with the class update, has the same client and server files as the upcoming version.

But it might actually be due to that that it's bugged in the UI since there were some changes to logic.

Can do! I honestly appreciate the quick reply and testing on it ; I'll push us up to the latest update a bit later today to see if it fixes

the latest update also optimizes the client-server pinging by like crazy amounts so it's a good one to grab anyway

But, if the latest don't fix your bug, it'll be fixed whenever next major comes out. Not sure when that is yet tho 😅

All good! Even if it doesnt, the extra optimization will be nice, and its not a game breaking thing, just means people gotta finish the races 🤣
