I need help settings up cw-gearbox

i installed the script put in the server but idk how to put a gear on a car can someone help/explain

It’s all in the readme to get it going, while we can provide support for the scripts themselves we are unable/unwilling to help with basic server setup. I’d suggest following the readme or looking on Google for some guides involving fiveM script setup if necessary.

In the readme says:Adding the flag manually
This does take some handling.meta know-how. You need to add the CF_GEARBOX_MANUAL flag (or in bit: 400)

One example of a working Advanced Flag is 4000400

This tool is great for modifying existing flags, you want this flag enabled:

One example of the SubHandlingData for a vehicle with the flag enabled:

It seems the readme does indeed explain and give a solid example on how to do what you’re asking.

But it will involve you modifying some of the handling files as required. This is not a plug and play script

If you’re unsure of where to go from that point I’d recommend reading up on how to edit the handling.meta files for vehicles as that is the next step for ya.

If you don't want to go over the entirety of all vehicles to add this flag, I do have a set of handling files for all gta cars (minus last dlc) + a couple hundred lore friendly ones, but the set isn't free.
