main screen -> Play -> IMPORT
main screen -> Play -> EXPORT SAVEGAME
As soon as I click either button, the game hangs a few seconds, then crashes. Player.log shows a stack trace. It mentions GTKOpenPanel and XDefaultRootWindow, among other things. I'm running in KDE Plasma, Wayland, Vulkan. (The SHOW FOLDER button works fine -- opens Dolphin.)

The troubleshooting guide mentions "Exporting a save to anything but the default path & filename seems to crash". But this happens before choosing any path or filename.

Linux: Crashes when choosing the import and export option in the play menu
To Do β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: Probably Never β€’ Game: 1.0.0-beta2

On Linux (specifically Bazzite), shapez 2 crashes when the player selects the Import or Export option in the Play menu. The expected behavior is that a file manager window should open, but instead the game crashes. This issue reproduces in both fullscreen and windowed modes, ruling out a focus-loss related bug. It is not a regression, as it was confirmed to also occur in version 0.1.1.

Certification badge shows as not complete in the main menu if completing certification mode and then the game hard crashes when in game.
Done β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: None β€’ Resolution: Duplicate

The Operator License (certification badge) incorrectly shows as not complete in the main menu after the player finishes Certification and the game then hard crashes during gameplay. This occurs on Linux, where a hard crash is triggered when using the import button. Reproducing the issue involves deleting the achievements file and General.json from the shared folder, disabling Steam cloud, and restarting. The expected behavior is that the Operator License remains marked as complete even after ...

Borderless window mode invokes Save/Import/Show options in the background
Done β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: OLD Early Access β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

In Borderless window mode, selecting the Download Savegame, Import, or Show folder options from the load menu causes these actions to execute in the background instead of appearing in the foreground. The issue occurs when a player goes to Settings, enables Borderless window mode, then accesses the load menu from the main menu and clicks any of these options. A black screen may appear, making it unclear to the player that any action is occurring. The expected behavior is that these dialogs sho...

Assertion failed error when music runs out while file explorer open
Done β€’ Priority: Lowest β€’ Fix: None β€’ Resolution: Cannot Reproduce

An assertion failed error occurs in the console when background music finishes playing while a file explorer window is open from the main menu. It is triggered by clicking the import button in the play menu or the export button of a savegame to open the file explorer, then waiting for the music to end before closing the explorer. This only happens in the menu, not in the Blueprint Library, where music continues to loop. The issue was previously reproducible but could not be reproduced in a la...

I tried GDK_BACKEND=x11 anyway, and it does work as a workaround. The troubleshooting page didn't mention 'importing', but that workaround did work for both exporting and importing.
