#[SPZ2-6020] Missing Certificate

After the release of 1.0 I started a new "Standard" game. I later noticed the "Certifications" which are pretty cool, and I like unlocking things. So I started a new "Operator License" game to get the first license. I completed the license, and then my game crashed when I was about to claim the certificate, because I was taking screenshots. I rebooted, and the autosave was a few minutes behind, so I redid the last steps and completed the certification. I went to the main menu, and could confirm that the certification badge was unlocked and visible. I then loaded my other savegame and continued playing. A day later when booting the game, I noticed the certification had disappeared from the main menu. I tried loading the game in which I had completed the certification, but this didn't help. And since that game had progressed to be a "Standard" game, it wasn't possible to redo the unlock from there.

I can redo the certification I guess, but I'm afraid I'll run into the same issue again. Is there a way to ensure that my obtained certifications aren't lost later on? It has caused me to feel disinclined to continue my main save at this point.

I also considered starting entirely anew, with the Operator's Certification game and then using that as the only save, but the problem here is that it doesn't seem possible to set a name for the game when starting this type of scenario. So the savegame will forever be "Unnamed" which sucks.

I don't think it's a computer issue, so I didn't attach any logs. I can redo the scenario again if need be and attach any relevant files, just let me know.

Love the game.

The badge for completing a game mode can be claimed more than once in all game modes.
Done โ€ข Priority: Low โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Resolution: Cannot Reproduce

The Operator License for completing a Game Mode can be claimed more than once across all Game Modes. After fully completing all Milestones and accepting the Operator License, saving and quitting, then reloading the same savegame allows the player to accept the Operator License again. This is reproducible by loading any completed savegame. The expected behavior is that the Operator License should be a one-time reward. Note that one reporter was unable to reproduce this in a specific release bu...

Trains crash rule starts applying on a save where it is not turned on
To Do โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: Post 1.0

The "trains crash" Challenge from one savegame incorrectly persists when loading a different savegame that does not have that Challenge enabled, causing trains to derail unexpectedly. This occurs when a player loads a savegame with the train crash Challenge active, returns to the main menu, and then loads another savegame without that Challenge. The Challenge setting is not properly cleared between savegame loads within the same session. The expected behavior is that each savegame's Challenge...

Classic mode save data transitioned from Certification / Tutorial mode has inaccurate game status information when viewing the save in the load game menu.
Done โ€ข Priority: Highest โ€ข Fix: 1.0.0 Release โ€ข Resolution: Fix Verified

A savegame transitioned from Certification to Classic Mode displayed inaccurate game status information in the load game menu. The Game Mode still showed as "Completed" and Research completion displayed an inflated percentage (e.g., 94% instead of the expected 9%) compared to an equivalent new Classic Mode savegame. The issue occurred when the player did not manually save after transitioning from Certification to Classic Mode before returning to the main menu. The expected behavior is that al...

The "Continue" option is missing when the user has completed the Operator License but saves inside a new Certification mode game and returns to the main menu.
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 1.0.0 Release โ€ข Resolution: Not A Bug

The "Continue" option is missing from the main menu when the player's most recent savegame is a Certification game mode and the player has already completed the Operator License. To reproduce, complete the Certification via cheats, claim the Operator License, then start a new Certification game, save it, and return to the main menu. The expected behavior is that "Continue" should be available to resume the most recent savegame of any type. However, this is reported as intentional design to pr...

Thanks for reporting this issue.
For some reason the file that indicates that the badge has been earned only is updated when exiting the game normally.
If a hard crash occurs the file isn't updated so its no longer showing as awarded on restarting.
As long as you get awarded badges and the game doesn't hard crash, and then you exit the game properly, the badges should stay on restarting.
