I'm not quite sure which setting it is specifically, but on my current settings colour asteroids don't show the pattern of their colour. Shapes, Shape asteroids, paint pipes and paint blobs all show the pattern.

I was trying to figure out why my colours were so bright and switched to colourblind mode, to see if it had anything to do with that

Shape asteroid previews don't use colorblind patterns

The Shape Asteroid previews did not display colorblind patterns when colorblind mode was enabled. This affected the visual representation of shapes on Asteroid Miners before extraction. Players with colorblindness would have difficulty distinguishing between different colored shapes on the asteroid patches. The issue has been fixed and verified in a development build, with colorblind patterns now correctly appearing in the shape previews.

Task icons and indicators only show the default colors when the color mode is changed in Certification mode.

Big tank for mixers do not show color blind pattern when color mode is set to RGB (color blind) when in game

The large Fluid Tank on Color Mixers does not display colorblind patterns when the color mode is set to RGB (Color blind). To reproduce, start a Classic Mode save in the Regular scenario, enable RGB (Color blind) in settings, and observe the Fluid Tank on a Color Mixer during or after mixing. The tank shows plain colors instead of the expected colorblind patterns. The Fluid Tank should use colorblind patterns consistent with the selected color mode setting.

I get how this setting causes the pattern effect to disappear, but I think it mustn't disappear, ever.
