#[SPZ2-6020] [1.0.3-rc3] Game completion progress reset

When I opened the game today, my completion badges for the Operator License and Classic Regular License have been relocked. When I go to start a new game, it no longer tells me that I've completed the Certification for the Operator License. My completed save file for Classic Regular that started with the Certification is still available though.

Certified achievement isn't awarded if going directly to playing a classic save instead of certification
To Do β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.3-rc2

The "Certified" achievement is not awarded when the player skips Certification and goes directly into playing a Classic Mode savegame in the Regular scenario. To reproduce, reset all stats, clear the game's local data, launch shapez 2, and start a Classic Mode save in Regular without completing Certification first. The expected behavior is that the achievement should still be awarded even if Certification is skipped.

Setting "tutorial-completed": "1" in the General.json file is triggering the certification achievement on loading a save file
To Do β€’ Priority: Highest β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.3-rc3

Setting "tutorial-completed" to "1" in the General.json file incorrectly triggers the Certification achievement when loading a savegame. This can be reproduced by placing the modified General.json in the shared folder, deleting the achievement.bin file, optionally disabling the store SDK, and starting a new Certification save. The achievement fires on load rather than requiring actual completion of the Certification. Expected behavior is that the Certification achievement only triggers when t...

Classic mode save data transitioned from Certification / Tutorial mode has inaccurate game status information when viewing the save in the load game menu.
Done β€’ Priority: Highest β€’ Fix: 1.0.0 Release β€’ Resolution: Fix Verified

A savegame transitioned from Certification to Classic Mode displayed inaccurate game status information in the load game menu. The Game Mode still showed as "Completed" and Research completion displayed an inflated percentage (e.g., 94% instead of the expected 9%) compared to an equivalent new Classic Mode savegame. The issue occurred when the player did not manually save after transitioning from Certification to Classic Mode before returning to the main menu. The expected behavior is that al...

The badge for completing a game mode can be claimed more than once in all game modes.
To Do β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: None

The Operator License for completing a Game Mode can be claimed more than once across all Game Modes. To reproduce, complete all Milestones in a Game Mode, accept the Operator License on the Milestones Screen, save and quit, then reload the same savegame and accept the Operator License again. This can be repeated indefinitely by reloading a completed savegame. The expected behavior is that the Operator License should be a one-time reward that cannot be accepted again after it has already been ...

Trains crash rule starts applying on a save where it is not turned on
To Do β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Post 1.0

The "trains crash" Challenge from one savegame incorrectly persists when loading a different savegame that does not have that Challenge enabled, causing trains to derail unexpectedly. This occurs when a player loads a savegame with the train crash Challenge active, returns to the main menu, and then loads another savegame without that Challenge. The Challenge setting is not properly cleared between savegame loads within the same session. The expected behavior is that each savegame's Challenge...

Save is counted as complete when the player has unlocked the final milestone but hasn't claimed the badge
To Do β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.0-RC2

A savegame is incorrectly marked as complete when the player unlocks the final milestone but has not yet claimed the completion badge. To reproduce, progress through Classic Mode or Manufacture Mode until all milestones are unlocked, unlock the final milestone on the Milestones Screen, save, and return to the main menu. The savegame information on the Play screen shows the game as complete prematurely. Expected behavior is that the savegame should not display as complete until the player has ...

Attempted to follow the suggestions in the main channel, #πŸ’¬shapez-2 message but the files that were suggested to be modified are identical. From what I can tell, the file says the tutorial is complete. General.json is the local file and Shared_General.json was downloaded from Steams cloud storage.

I was able to reobtain my classic regular license by reloading my game and obtaining the badge again. The tutorial badge is still locked.

I've been playing in Manufacturer mode for the last week. Maybe popped into that(classic mode) save once, but quit without saving.

As for the crashing, my last one was on the 8th and my badges were fine after that recovery. Had to reboot my computer after trying to alt-tab during an auto-save.

I started Manufacturer Mode on the 7th, so the crash was definitely after having beat classic.

I have personally resolved my issue with this bug by reloading my classic save and collecting my badge again and rebeating the certification. I have made a copy of that save before collecting the badge so I can get it if this happens again.

This bug occurred for me again

#

My saves aren't available anymore in the game either. I can see them in the AppData though.

#

Oh...all of the save data in those folders is gone 😿

Yes, both of those happened. We rotated around to play Peak.
