After the first loading bar opening, the screen automatically shuts and boots me back to my pc's main screen. Whenever I try to open it it shuts again a second after. Even if I click a button quickly to go to another menu it does not stop it from shutting. It figured itself out the first time but it isnt doing that now. What do I do

[Linux] The title will end straight after starting a few times before starting properly
To Do β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.3-rc3

On Linux (Ubuntu, Arch), shapez 2 crashes immediately after launching multiple times before eventually starting properly. The issue is triggered by a fatal runtime error in the Mono runtime or one of its native libraries, with native fault reporting also failing, which leaves some diagnostic information unavailable. The expected behavior is that shapez 2 should start properly on the first launch attempt.

[Linux] Title always exits shortly after starting it
To Do β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.3-rc3

On Linux (Ubuntu and Arch), shapez 2 crashes shortly after launching, though the issue is not 100% reproducible. A fatal runtime error occurs in the Mono runtime or a native library. The crash can be worked around by using a non-native resolution or by manually creating a display.json file in the local folder with a specific resolution and windowed mode. The expected behavior is that shapez 2 starts successfully every time without requiring manual configuration changes.

To Do β€’ Priority: Highest β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.3-rc3

shapez 2 crashes immediately on launch on macOS, preventing the player from reaching the main menu. The issue appeared suddenly after the game had previously been working, with no known triggering action from the user. The expected behavior is that the game launches successfully and displays the main menu without crashing.

Crash during startup process
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Future β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

The game / shapez 2 crashes during the startup process on Linux using Proton support. The crash occurs right after clicking allow anonymous reporting on first launch. On the second launch attempt after clicking the same option, the game successfully reaches the start menu. The log shows multiple errors including a 32-bit library being incorrectly loaded into a 64-bit process and Chromium embedded browser component issues. The crash prevents the player from accessing the game on first startup,...

Initialization failure due to (incorrect) unknown windows version.
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: OLD Early Access β€’ Game: 6.2.9200 β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

Multiple players are experiencing an initialization failure in shapez 2 where the game incorrectly detects their operating system as an unsupported version. After the initial credits and loading screen at startup, an error message appears stating the operating system is not supported and requires Windows 10 or newer, even though affected players are running Windows 10 or Windows 11. The game displays "Unknown Windows ()64bit" in the bottom left corner. This prevents players from accessing the...

On macOS, game must be restarted one or two times until buttons are clickable
Done β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: OLD Early Access β€’ Resolution: Done

On macOS, shapez 2 must be restarted one or two times before buttons become clickable. This issue occurs on both M1 and M2 processors. The problem appears to be a Unity engine bug that affects macOS versions of the game. When the game first launches, UI buttons are unresponsive and require one or two full restarts before they function properly. This prevents normal gameplay until the restart workaround is applied.

What are your system specs? Are you using integrated graphics? Integrated graphics can be problematic unfortunately, possibly due to the low VRAM they have.

Integrated would be if the graphics is only on the CPU and the computer doesn't have a separate graphics card connected.
