Applies to the different types of wagon depots and long rail up/down, they show blue holograms when trying to place buildings on them, even if the buildings don't actually get placed. Space belt in the screenshot is provided for reference of how it should be

Train depot placement indicator indicates valid placement but can't be placed
Done • Priority: Medium • Fix: 4 - Early Access • Resolution: Done

The Locomotive Depot placement indicator shows blue indicating valid placement, but clicking does not actually place the building. This occurs when attempting to place the depot at a location where rail would overlap. The player expects to be able to place the depot when the indicator shows it as valid. The issue has been verified as fixed, with the depot now placeable in this scenario by automatically removing the overlapping rail.

Space belts, pipes and rails not red when hovering over the vortex on space elevation 2
Done • Priority: Medium • Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] • Resolution: Duplicate

When hovering Space Belts, Space Pipes, or Rail over The Vortex on space elevation 2, the placement ghost appears blue instead of red despite being in a no-building area. Other structures like Space Platforms and Train Stations correctly show red placement ghosts in this restricted zone. The issue occurs after acquiring the 3rd platform floor upgrade and can be reproduced by hovering these specific structures over The Vortex. While placement is correctly prevented regardless of the blue color...

Space path and rails do not check for custom placement rules
Done • Priority: Medium • Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] • Resolution: Done

Space Belts and Rails did not respect custom placement rules when being placed. They should have displayed in red when attempting to place them above The Vortex, indicating an invalid placement location, but this validation check was missing. This allowed players to place these transport structures in areas where they should have been blocked. The expected behavior is for the placement preview to turn red and prevent placement in restricted zones. This issue has been fixed and verified in the...

No incorrect placement coloring when placing 2x1 buildings on level 2 with level 3 not unlocked
Done • Priority: High • Fix: Dimension Update Patch 1 [0.1.1] • Resolution: Done

When attempting to place 2-level tall structures like the Stacker on level 2 without having unlocked level 3, the placement preview incorrectly shows in blue instead of red. This occurs in a new game on any difficulty when using build mode on level 2. The issue affects all 2-level tall buildings including Stackers and Crystal Generators. The expected behavior is that these buildings should display red coloring to indicate invalid placement since they require level 3 to be unlocked.

Blueprint placement not showing red on train related blocked buildings
Done • Priority: Critical • Fix: 1.0.0 Release • Resolution: Fix Verified

Train-related structures do not appear in red when placing a blueprint that contains structures not yet unlocked. Instead of showing the expected red blocked indicator, the placement fails silently with only a failed placement sound effect. This affects blueprint placement validation specifically for train-related structures. The issue has been verified as fixed.

Wagons autosnap to islands and show correct connection
To Do • Priority: Medium • Fix: Post 1.0

Train wagons automatically rotate and snap to the edges of Space Platforms, displaying a valid connection even though no such connection should exist. The issue does not occur if the Space Platform has any Notches occupied by launchers or catchers on that side. It can be reproduced by placing any Space Platform and hovering any Wagon next to its edges, at which point the Wagon auto-snaps to the platform edge. The expected behavior is that train Wagons should not auto-snap to Space Platforms.
