#[SPZ2-5688] [1.0.3-rc3] Platform Belt Catcher throughput exceeds 100% when outputting to Trash

When a Platform Belt Catcher is connected directly to a Trash building from a Train Unloader or Space Belt, the throughput exceeds the intended belt speed limit (101% efficiency).

Observed Result:

120/min belt speed results in 121/min.

180/min belt speed results in 182/min.

Impact:
This causes the Floor 1 container of the Unloader to be consumed faster than other floors, creating unintended gaps in the shape flow for the first floor.

Backed up shapes on space belts cause belt catchers and launchers to be faster than 100%
To Do โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: Post 1.0

When Space Belts have backed-up shapes, Belt Catchers and Belt Launchers can exceed 100% speed. This occurs in Classic Mode on a Regular scenario when more shapes are supplied via a Space Belt than a Machine Platform can receive. The issue can be observed by watching an Overflow Splitter begin triggering due to the excess throughput. The expected behavior is that Belt Catchers and Belt Launchers should have a maximum speed of 100% and never exceed it.

Overflow splitters directily after catchers are faster than normal
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: Post 1.0 โ€ข Resolution: Duplicate

Overflow Splitters placed directly after Belt Catchers operate at speeds exceeding the normal maximum throughput of 180/m, causing shapes to incorrectly route to the overflow output instead of continuing straight through. The issue only occurs when the Overflow Splitter is immediately connected to a Belt Catcher without any Conveyor Belt spacing between them. This results in unexpected shape loss and routing behavior. The bug can be reproduced by placing a Belt Launcher system between two Spa...

Paint Catcher exceeds stated 1,200 L/min throughput
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: Future โ€ข Resolution: Done

The Fluid Catcher appears to be exceeding its stated 1,200 L/min throughput limit when used as a Paint Catcher. It is able to catch all 4,800 L/min from a Space Pipe lane, which should not be possible given its throughput specification. This results in painters operating at full throughput when they should be limited by the catcher's capacity. The bug has been fixed in version 0.0.8.

Unloaders unload packages faster if connected to space belts splits
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Resolution: Won't Fix

The Shape Wagon Unloader unloads Shape Packages faster when connected to a Space Belt Split compared to being placed directly on a Space Platform. This occurs because unloaders operate at space belt speed, while a Machine Platform can only accept shapes at regular belt speed, which is 4 times slower by design. The increased Throughput when using a Split is intentional behavior. To optimize unload speed, the unloader should connect to a Space Belt that then distributes to 4 Machine Platforms, ...

Space Belt is consuming shapes
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 4 - Early Access โ€ข Resolution: Done

Space Belts are consuming shapes instead of transporting them properly. When shapes are sent through a Space Belt, significantly fewer shapes arrive at the destination than were sent - for example, 180 shapes sent but only 90 received. The issue persists continuously rather than just during the initial saturation period, and appears worse when the receiving Space Platform is more complex. Regular Conveyor Belts do not exhibit this behavior. The bug has already been fixed by Nicko.
