I decided to see what small mods had already been made on the workshop and subscribed to the following while the game was running:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3560404770
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3704835649
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3714893191
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3591193591
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3591335975
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3542712030
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3542611357
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3634025615

I played vanilla as normal for a session then came back later and reopened the game. After accepting the warning regarding mods, which had not popped up before as I had subscribed to the workshop items and downloaded them using the steam overlay browser ingame, the game suffered a fatal error, with the stack attached. This error happens consistently when trying to move to the title screen after the introduction with the logos, and only stopped after I unsubscribed from every mod. I am willing to provide more information if this is not enough.

AssimpNet mod crashes on Linux due to Steam runtime library conflicts
To Do โ€ข Priority: Highest โ€ข Fix: 1.1.0 Release โ€ข Game: 1.0.2-rc1

The AssimpNet mod causes shapez 2 to crash on Linux due to Steam runtime library conflicts. The crash occurs when starting the game after installing the AssimpNet mod or any mod that depends on it. The error log indicates a DllNotFoundException where the native library could not be loaded. The expected behavior is that shapez 2 on Linux should be able to run with the AssimpNet mod installed without crashing. A potential workaround was suggested by the reporter.

Shapez 2 can crash when switching graphics settings while using Linux.
To Do โ€ข Priority: Critical โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Game: 0.1.1

shapez 2 can crash or become unstable on Linux when changing and applying graphics settings such as resolution and window mode. This occurs when users navigate to Settings > Graphics and apply changes. Additionally, some users experience crashes at startup, potentially due to the application attempting to apply outdated graphics settings from a previous version before the settings refactor in rc1. The expected behavior is that the game remains functional and stable after applying graphics cha...

[Linux] Title always exits shortly after starting it
To Do โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Game: 1.0.3-rc3

On Linux (Ubuntu and Arch), shapez 2 crashes shortly after launching, though not 100% reproducibly. The crash appears related to native resolution, as it can be worked around by using a non-native resolution or by manually creating a display.json file with a specific resolution and windowed mode. The log shows a fatal runtime error in the Mono runtime or native libraries. Expected behavior is that shapez 2 starts successfully every time without requiring manual configuration changes.

[Linux] The title will end straight after starting a few times before starting properly
To Do โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Game: 1.0.3-rc3

On Linux (Ubuntu, Arch), shapez 2 crashes immediately after launching multiple times before eventually starting properly. The issue is triggered by a fatal runtime error in the Mono runtime or one of its native libraries, with native fault reporting also failing, which leaves some diagnostic information unavailable. The expected behavior is that shapez 2 should start properly on the first launch attempt.
