I've been noticing a couple different ways in which paint colors are not rendered consistently across Shapez 2 following the release of 1.0. This is the first instance of it that I feel strongly enough about to actually report.

White should look like white. White is not grey. White does not look like grey. White should not be rendered as grey. Care should be taken to render white as white so that it's really clear that white is white wherever white is shown.

Train content colors are darker than the colors loaded
To Do β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: None

Train wagon content colors appear darker than the actual colors being loaded into them. This visual discrepancy is noticeable when the train contents option is enabled, and it causes some colors like Magenta to appear as different colors such as purple. The issue occurs with both shapes and paints loaded onto wagons. Players can reproduce this by loading a train with colored items in Classic Mode with cheats enabled. The expected behavior is that the preview color shown on wagons should accur...

White fluid cloud displayed as grey / uncolored
Done β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] β€’ Resolution: Done

White fluid clouds are displayed as grey or uncolored in Machine View instead of appearing white as expected. The issue only occurs in the zoomed-in Building mode, while Space View correctly shows the white fluid cloud in its proper white color. This visual bug causes fluid colors to be misrepresented during normal gameplay when players are working at the machine level. The expected behavior is for white fluid to consistently appear white in all view modes.

Non-primary colored trains are shown as white trains in the statistics screen
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: 1.0.0 Release β€’ Resolution: Fix Verified

Secondary colored locomotives (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) are incorrectly displayed as white locomotives in the Statistics Panel. To reproduce, place one of each colored locomotive and open the Statistics Panel. The secondary colored locomotives are grouped and counted under white, which is a tertiary color, rather than being shown under their actual colors. Additionally, a placeholder icon for an item called "research stations" appears in the Statistics Panel, which seems related to the same und...

Converter and crystal shapes are shown as flat colors in the train visualization shader
To Do β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: 1.1 Release [1.1.0]

Refined Shapes and Crystal shapes are displayed as flat colors in the train visualization shader instead of rendering with their actual shaders. This affects how these shapes appear when previewed on trains, making them look like solid color blocks rather than their correct visual representations. For example, white shapes and crystals appear grey. The issue has been acknowledged and moved to the 1.1 milestone.

Uncoloured fluid is too close to white when zoomed in
To Do β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.0-alpha4-rc1

Uncolored fluid appears too close to white when the camera is zoomed in. In Classic Mode on a Regular scenario, placing fluid-producing structures and viewing their contents while zooming in causes uncolored fluid to progressively look whiter the closer the camera gets. The color should remain a consistent grey at any camera distance. This makes it difficult to visually distinguish uncolored fluid from white fluid during normal gameplay.

Pipes and fluid producers uncoloured is the same as white for when set to color blind
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Post 1.0 β€’ Resolution: Fix Verified

When color blind mode is enabled, Pipes and Signal Producers displaying White and Uncolored fluids appear identical, making them indistinguishable. To reproduce, start a new Classic Mode savegame with cheats enabled and place Signal Producers set to White and Uncolored. The expected behavior is that there should be an obvious visual distinction between Uncolored and White in color blind mode. This issue has been reported as fixed with a colorblind distinction implemented for white, black, and...
