#[SPZ2-5585] [1.0.3-rc3] Shape Wagon Unloader > Vortex Grand Assembler running over twice the tooltip

I have attached a set of Shape Wagon Unloaders directly (or near-directly) to a Vortex Grand Assembler. The Vortex Grand Assembler tooltip notes it consumed 90 / min x 12 Shapes, for a total of 1080 Shapes a minute. The Shape Wagon Unloader unloads packs of 360 Shapes on 3 levels, making for a combined 1080 Shapes across a single pack on each level.

The expected behaviour then is that across all three levels, one Shape pack would be consumed per minute for a total of 1080/m or 90 / min x 12 Shapes.
The observed behaviour is that it consumes (more than) twice as much, consuming a pack roughly every 27-30 seconds.
I have timed about a dozen and, autosave delays notwithstanding, they all clock in around the 28 second average.
I have attached a recording displaying this, the save file in question, and my Player.log file.

Unloaders unload packages faster if connected to space belts splits
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Resolution: Won't Fix

The Shape Wagon Unloader unloads Shape Packages faster when connected to a Space Belt Split compared to being placed directly on a Space Platform. This occurs because unloaders operate at space belt speed, while a Machine Platform can only accept shapes at regular belt speed, which is 4 times slower by design. The increased Throughput when using a Split is intentional behavior. To optimize unload speed, the unloader should connect to a Space Belt that then distributes to 4 Machine Platforms, ...

Overflow splitters directily after catchers are faster than normal
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: Post 1.0 โ€ข Resolution: Duplicate

Overflow Splitters placed directly after Belt Catchers operate at speeds exceeding the normal maximum throughput of 180/m, causing shapes to incorrectly route to the overflow output instead of continuing straight through. The issue only occurs when the Overflow Splitter is immediately connected to a Belt Catcher without any Conveyor Belt spacing between them. This results in unexpected shape loss and routing behavior. The bug can be reproduced by placing a Belt Launcher system between two Spa...

Converters produce more shapes per minute in simulation when their input space belts are full as long as their exit is clear
Done โ€ข Priority: Highest โ€ข Fix: 1.0.0 Release โ€ข Resolution: Fix Verified

Trade Stations in Manufacture Mode produce more shapes per minute than expected when their input Space Belts are full and their Output is clear, but only while the player is zoomed out far enough to trigger simulation mode. To reproduce, fill the input Space Belts of a Trade Station, connect a Trash to the output, zoom out to force simulation, wait, then zoom back in to observe the higher throughput. The expected behavior is that the same number of shapes should be processed in simulation as ...

Loading packages in wagon transfer stations is slower than unloading
To Do โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: Post 1.0

Wagon Transfer stations have an inconsistent loading and unloading speed for Shape Packages. When Train Capacity upgrades are fully unlocked (6 cargo per level), unloading occurs in batches of 3 with a small pause, while loading processes only 1 cargo at a time with pauses between each. This causes trains to be significantly slowed during loading at Wagon Transfer stations, making them unreliable compared to using a separate unloader-Space Belt-Wagon Loader setup. Only the loading side of Wag...

Train Unloader creates a gap on space belts when switching to next crate to unload
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: Update 0 - Patch 1 โ€ข Game: 0.0.0-alpha23.2 โ€ข Resolution: Done

The Shape Wagon Unloader creates unwanted gaps on Space Belts when it finishes unloading one Shape Package and switches to the next package. This happens because there was no buffer between the unloading process and the transfer to the belt, causing a brief interruption in output. The gaps result in slightly reduced throughput efficiency, particularly noticeable when trying to maintain maximum belt speed of 180 items per minute. This issue was fixed by implementing a configurable buffer of le...
