If I select a space conveyor connected to a trade station and press O, it will select the trade station and conveyors on the other side of the trade station. Trade stations should behave the same as regular platforms here - space platforms are not selected and any space conveyors not directly connected (ie on another side of the space platform) should not be selected.

Select connected with "O" counts trash as connection
To Do โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: Post 1.0 โข Game: 14.14.56
When using the "select connected" function (O key), the Trash machine is incorrectly treated as a connection point between separate Conveyor Belts. To reproduce, place a Trash and connect two individual Conveyor Belts to it, then select one belt and press O. Both belts get selected despite not being meaningfully connected. The expected behavior is that Trash should not count as a connection, so only the directly connected belt should be selected.
When selecting connected buildings, catapult receivers / senders should also be selected
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
When selecting connected structures using the area selection tool (pressing O after selecting a Belt Launcher), the connected Belt Catcher on the receiving end is not automatically selected as part of the connected group. This issue affects Belt Launchers and Belt Catchers, though it has been fixed for Fluid Launchers. The expected behavior is that when selecting connected buildings, paired launcher and catcher structures should be included in the selection, at least when they are on the same...
"select connected" does not work for Wires and Belt Catchers
Done โข Priority: Highest โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
The Area Selection feature does not work properly for Wires and Belt Catchers. When pressing the keybinding O or using the select connected button, the function fails to select connected Wires at all, and only works for Belt Catchers but not other structures. The expected behavior is that the select connected feature should highlight and select all connected instances of these structures. According to discussion, this may have been partially fixed for belts but the issue persists for Wires.
Pressing O-key on Belt Catcher exception:
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
When pressing the O-key on a Belt Catcher placed over Space Platforms, an exception occurs. The player log shows three errors: two identical background Savegame loading failures due to version mismatch (1032 vs minimum 1078), and a KeyNotFoundException for 'ConnectableBuildingSimulation' during dictionary lookup. The issue is triggered by either pressing O or selecting the connected button while a Belt Catcher is selected. This prevents the expected functionality of the Keybinding from workin...
Wire buildings missing (O) and (I) function to select connected and clear contents
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
Wire buildings are missing the functionality for the "Select Connected" and "Clear Contents" buttons that appear in the context window. When pressing these buttons on Wire buildings, connected Wire elements and connected Shape and fluid elements do not get selected, and Clear Contents does not work. Clicking Select Connected triggers a KeyNotFoundException error related to ConnectableBuildingSimulation not being present in the dictionary. The issue was reported from Discord QA but could not b...
[Alpha 16.2] Using "select connected" twice causes NotImplementedException
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 4.1 - EA Prototype โข Resolution: Done
Pressing the Area Selection keybinding (O key) or using the on-screen button twice while the same connected structures are already selected causes a NotImplementedException error. This occurs when a player clicks on a Conveyor Belt, uses the select connected function to highlight the entire belt, then presses O again. The expected behavior is that no error should appear. The issue has already been fixed in a later version.
