Map generation preview flipped vertically
To Do โข Priority: Low โข Fix: None
The map generation preview shows Space Platforms mirrored vertically. The position of Shape Asteroids inside super chunks displays correctly, but the super chunks themselves appear flipped in the preview. This issue affects Space Platforms that are not located in the same column as The Vortex. The preview does not match the actual placement of platforms during map generation.

CustomMap - Shape Patch not generated fully, leaving single asteroid patch (minimum set to 4)
Done โข Priority: Low โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Game: 0.0.0-alpha20 โข Resolution: Done
In CustomMap mode, a Shape Asteroid was not generated according to the configured minimum Extraction Spots setting of 4, resulting in only a single Extraction Spots being created. This was the only instance of a single-patch Shape Asteroid in the entire seed 11922, despite the minimum being explicitly set to 4. The issue has been resolved, as single Asteroid shapes are now allowed by design. The bug affected world generation consistency with user-defined CustomMap parameters. A savegame with ...
Map generation form patches
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: None โข Resolution: Missing Feature
The map generation / procedural generation system for Extraction Spots appears to have inconsistent behavior with the minimum distance setting. While the distance setting works correctly for full shapes in neighboring sectors outside the central sector, half shapes still appear in those sectors even when the minimum distance is set to 18. The central sector has several static Extraction Spots that are part of initial map generation to help players through early Milestones and these cannot be ...
Changing shape asteroid settings causes all the shape asteroids to vanish outside the vortex chunk in map generation
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: None โข Resolution: Not A Bug
When modifying Shape Asteroid settings in the map generation screen (excluding Patch Likeness), all Shape Asteroids disappear outside The Vortex chunk, leaving only Fluid Asteroids visible. This occurs in both Manufacture Mode and Classic Mode when creating a new game under Founder's Journey. The user expects Shape Asteroids to remain present outside The Vortex or Waste Provider chunk area regardless of configuration changes. However, this appears to be intended behavior when Patch Likeliness...
Single Fluid Cloud tiles appear in seed 76659
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Game: 0.0.0-alpha23.1 โข Resolution: Missing Feature
In seed 76659 on Hard scenario, single Fluid Asteroid tiles and a 2x1 Shape Asteroid appear, which contradicts previous QA reports stating asteroid patches should have a minimum size of 4 tiles. This occurs when starting a new game with that specific seed in Hard mode. The reporter believes this violates an established design rule, though discussion suggests this may be an intentional game design change rather than a bug. The issue affects asteroid generation consistency and player expectatio...
Invalid shape asteroid & fluid deposits bounding boxes
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 2 - Demo โข Resolution: Done
At steep camera angles, shape asteroids and fluid deposits clip out of view prematurely. This occurs because the bounding boxes for these resources do not properly match their visual geometry. The bounds need to be fine-tuned to prevent the resources from disappearing when viewed at certain angles. This affects visibility of both shape and fluid extraction spots during gameplay.
Thanks for reporting this issue.
If you play around with custom map generation they are restricted to those areas.
So this is by design.
