#[SPZ2-3261] [1.0.3-rc2] Train catcher collision bug

Trains usually have "collision", they can't go inside each other at a choke point.
This isn't the case with ramps. If trains are stopped on top of a train catcher (it can't go forward because of another train), other trains will still take the train launcher. Launching them inside another train.
Which will give this weird visual bug on top of seeing all the trains clip into each other. Thankfully they will still continue 1 by 1.

Train catchers allow infinite train stacking when gap is higher than the wagon count
To Do β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: None

In Classic Mode, Train Catchers allow infinite train stacking when the gap is higher than the wagon count. After launching trains to a Train Catcher, the arriving trains do not account for trains already stopped ahead and end up occupying the same position, ignoring collisions. This results in multiple trains stacking on top of each other indefinitely. Trains should stop when reaching a train already in front of them regardless of the situation.

Blocked trains all stop in the same location on a train loop/rail twisters ignoring collision
To Do β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 1.0.0-alpha4-rc1

When multiple trains are blocked on a Rail Loop or Rail Twister, they all stop at the same location, overlapping each other and ignoring collision. This occurs in Classic Mode under the Regular scenario. Normally, blocked trains on a standard Rail should queue up behind each other, but on Rail Loops and Rail Twisters they merge into a single spot instead. The expected behavior is that trains respect collision and line up sequentially as they do on regular rails.

1 or 2 wagoned trains will clip slightly into the next trains wagons if stopping straight after a rail up or rail down
To Do β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Post 1.0

Trains with 1 or 2 wagons clip slightly into the wagons of the train ahead when stopping just after a rail ascent or descent. This occurs in Classic Mode on a Regular scenario and can be reproduced by placing rails with elevation changes and observing trains as they stop. Most trains except those carrying cyan exhibit the clipping behavior. Trains should maintain the correct following distance behind another wagon regardless of position on the rail.

Trains can glitch into each other
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: 4 - Early Access β€’ Resolution: Done

Trains can phase through or overlap with other trains on the same rail track. This collision glitching should not be occurring due to the implemented train collision avoidance system. The expected behavior is that trains should properly detect and stop before colliding with other trains ahead of them on the track. This bug undermines the train routing and safety mechanics that are supposed to prevent rail vehicle conflicts.

Trains may overlap as they leap
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Future β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

Trains may visually overlap with each other when they leap between Space Platforms. This is a minor visual issue that does not affect gameplay functionality. The bug occurs during train transitions across platform boundaries. The development team has decided not to fix this issue as it would require too much effort for a cosmetic problem.

Trains do not slow down to other trains or blockers
Done β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: 0.1 - Feature Complete β€’ Game: 0.0.9 β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

Trains do not slow down when approaching other Trains or blockers. This feature was intentionally omitted during a refactoring for simplification. When a Train encounters another Train ahead or a blocker Space Platform that prevents it from flipping upside down, it stops but visually clips through the obstruction instead of gradually decelerating. The issue is considered an edge case and marked as Won't Fix unless it causes problems elsewhere.
