End of Tutorial moves game "back" to tutorial after selecting "normal" mode
Done β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: Version 0.0.9 β€’ Resolution: Done

After completing the Certification and selecting Normal difficulty to continue, the game incorrectly reloads the player back into the Certification. Space Platforms become locked again despite just being unlocked, and the game requires delivering 300 more shapes to unlock Milestone 3 which was already completed. This appears to be caused by the game saving asynchronously and then reloading an older version of the savegame. The issue prevents proper progression from Certification into Normal d...

Classic mode save data transitioned from Certification / Tutorial mode has inaccurate game status information when viewing the save in the load game menu.
Done β€’ Priority: Highest β€’ Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] β€’ Resolution: Fix Verified

When a savegame is transitioned from Certification to Classic Mode, the save data displayed in the load game menu shows inaccurate status information. Specifically, the Game Mode still appears as completed, and the Research completion percentage is vastly inflated (e.g., 94% instead of the expected 9%) compared to an equivalent new Classic Mode savegame. This occurred when the player did not manually save after the transition before returning to the main menu. The expected behavior is that al...

Trains crash rule starts applying on a save where it is not turned on
To Do β€’ Priority: Low β€’ Fix: Post 1.0

When a savegame with the trains crash Challenge enabled is loaded and then the player returns to the main menu and loads a different savegame that does not have that Challenge enabled, the trains crash rule incorrectly persists and applies to the second savegame. This causes trains to crash at the end of their lines even though the Challenge was never activated for that save. The issue occurs because Challenge settings from one savegame are not properly cleared when returning to the main menu...

Support showing mode selection to start new game after completing tutorial
Done β€’ Priority: Highest β€’ Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] β€’ Resolution: Done

After completing the Certification, the game needs to support showing the Game Mode selection screen to allow players to start a new Savegame. The current solution sends the player back to the main menu where they can choose their Game Mode. This affects the transition flow from the tutorial into the main game. As a bonus improvement, all scenarios now have visual badges in the selection interface.

Area copy tutorial not completed when changing difficulty
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] β€’ Resolution: Cannot Reproduce

The Area Selection Certification popup remains stuck on screen when a player changes from Normal to Hard scenario mid-tutorial. The issue occurs when starting in Normal difficulty, reaching the Blueprint tutorial, then saving and switching to Hard scenario before completing the copy-paste action. The tutorial popup cannot be closed in Hard scenario because the required action is unavailable. The player must switch back to Normal, complete the copy-paste, then return to Hard to dismiss it. Hello @dusk narwhal

This feature is intended.

The tutorial/certification mode for the Operator license has the default map generation set automatically and cannot be changed. The default generation when starting a mode is set to spiral, and this will be the map type in the Classic mode if you with to continue on that same save.

You can also create a new Classic save with a custom map generation, disabling Spiraling asteroid generation.

Thank you,
Josh
