Sometimes when copying a part of my factory in Manufacture/Hard scenario I get exceptions in the log. The second time it happened I did a paste thinking it might stop the exceptions. Instead everything on screen disappeared including the GUI. I couldn't access the menu either. But it wasn't a PSOD as the background was still there and animating. I can't reproduce this. Just making a report just in case others run into this and can add to it.

Log Analysis (Player.log):
Here are the distinct errors/exceptions found in the log:

  1. Exception ("Stored island does not match"): A stored island Layout_RailLiftUp1X1X2 does not match the current island to remove, thrown in MapLayout.RemoveIsland and surfacing through ExtendedMapLayout.Clear, StagingPlacementMapExtender, and LazyEventMapLayout.RemoveIslandLazyStep.Execute.

  2. Exception ("Trying to remove non existing island"): ExtendedMapLayout.RemoveIsland throws when attempting to remove island SpaceBelt_LeftTurn at GlobalChunkCoordinate(2681, -72, 1), called repeatedly via StagingPlacementMapExtender.ApplyChangesToMap and BunchEditScope.Dispose.

  3. NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object in PlacementInputHolder.As[T], propagating through ModularEntityPlacer.GetPlacementState and ModularEntityPlacer.Update; also occurs in MousePlacementTracker.Track at GlobalChunkCoordinate(2693, -21, 0).

  4. ArgumentException: A duplicate key IslandDescriptor(Layout_RailLiftUp1X1X2 @ (GlobalChunkCoordinate(2694, -51, 0);Rotate180)) was added to a Dictionary in LookupQueue.Enqueue, rethrown as an AggregateException.

Errors while cut/paste in Hex mode

The player experiences choppy and lagging behavior when using the Copy/Paste feature in Hexagonal mode. The issue occurs specifically after cutting Structures and copying a small Stacker factory. Console Error when blueprinting fluid extraction platform

When copying a Fluid Asteroid with CTRL+C and hovering the Cursor with the Blueprint over the screen, a console error message spams at every coordinate the Cursor hovers over. The issue occurs after marking an existing Fluid Asteroid and copying it using Copy/Paste. The error appears while hovering the copied Blueprint before placement. Reproduction is inconsistent and the developer is gathering more information from the user. The issue has been fixed.

ctrl X does not work during autosave, deletes but does not copy

Cut does not work during autosave, deletes but does not copy. When using Area Selection and pressing Ctrl+X while an autosave occurs simultaneously, the selected structures are deleted but not copied to the clipboard. The expected behavior is that the selection should be both deleted and copied for pasting elsewhere. The issue can be recovered using undo. The bug is difficult to reproduce but has occurred multiple times.

Same save as the slowdown bug. But the two times it happened I couldn’t reproduce after restarting the game. The DLC doesn’t work in the hard mode test versions.
