Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a test-blueprint of something, e.g. a foundation
  2. Select a group of something else, e.g. belts
  3. Place them into the clipboard by selecting them and pressing Ctrl+C
  4. Now select something else, e.g. some other foundation
  5. Open the blueprints overview, open the test-blueprint, and click on replace/save

Expected behaviour: Blueprint is replaced with the selection.
Actual behaviour: Blueprint is replaced with the stuff you copied earlier.

Replacing a blueprint within the blueprint library only replaces the Replace button with "Contents replaced" and doesn't save
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โ€ข Resolution: Fix Verified

When using the Replace function in the Blueprint Library, clicking Replace changes the button text to "Contents replaced" but does not actually save the updated Blueprint contents from the clipboard. The Save and Delete functions work correctly. Users expect Replace to show a confirmation dialog (similar to when creating a Blueprint with a duplicate name) and then update the Blueprint with the clipboard contents while maintaining existing icons. This affects both new and experienced players w...

Blueprint UI box losing icons when replacing blueprint
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: None โ€ข Resolution: Duplicate

When replacing a saved Blueprint with different structures using the Copy/Paste feature, the icons displayed in the top-right UI panel do not update correctly. After saving the replacement Blueprint in the Blueprint Library, the icons appear correct in the library view initially, but when the Blueprint is used or edited again, the icons revert to the default icons from the copied selection instead of the newly saved ones. The expected behavior is that icons should sync properly when structure...

Blueprint icons reset when using "Replace" button
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: Dimension Update Patch 1 [0.1.1] โ€ข Game: 17.38.44 โ€ข Resolution: Done

When using the "Replace" button in the Blueprint Library dialog, the icon of the existing Blueprint is reset to the icon of the new Blueprint after reloading the Savegame. The tooltip states that the icon should not be replaced, and initially it appears correct, but the icon resets upon save reload. This bug was reported multiple times and claimed to be fixed previously. The expected behavior is that the original Blueprint icon should be preserved when using the Replace function.

Using the "Save Blueprint" feature will overwrite the clipboard
Done โ€ข Priority: Low โ€ข Fix: OLD Early Access โ€ข Resolution: Won't Fix

When using the "Save Blueprint" feature via the button or Ctrl+S on small structures or entire Space Platforms, the current clipboard contents are overwritten with the selected structure. This behavior is confirmed as intended. It can be disabled in the settings.

Saving over a blueprint causes it to appear twice in the library
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 4.1 - EA Prototype โ€ข Resolution: Done

When saving over an existing blueprint with the same name and clicking REPLACE, the blueprint appears duplicated in the library. This occurs by selecting structures with CTRL+C, saving with CTRL+S under a name like TEST, then saving again with the same name and choosing to replace. After deletion of one duplicate and clicking refresh, both blueprints are removed instead of just one. The expected behavior is that replacing a blueprint should update it without creating duplicates.
