When I look at a big platform pipe that change layer (1st layer to 2nd or reverse) some of the details on it start flashing random colors (always fully saturated colors that enters in bloom range).
If I keep looking at it for 10-60 seconds the game crashes and becomes unresponsive (does not close on it's own). The music does not stop.
On top of that, I get an error from my pc that one of my graphics card driver had a timeout error.

Useful information (maybe):

  • My GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and all drivers are up to date.
  • The exact version of the game is 0.0.1 | Windows 11 (10.0.26200) 64bit | Vulkan | Steam | 2025-06-23 12:37:33Z
  • These trans-layer platform pipes are the only occurrence of this bug I found as of late (since I haven't finish the campaign and the last thing I unlocked was paint, I cannot say at 100% there's no other structure causing this)
  • This bug happened to me 7 times in 4 days. It is getting quite frustrating because I lose some progress each time.

I'll happily provide any other information if needed, just @ me.

There is an obvious multi colour flickering in the main menu screen when using Vulkan on an Arc A380 graphics card
To Do β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0]

Multi-color flickering occurs on the main menu screen when using the Vulkan graphics backend with an Intel Arc A380 graphics card. The issue triggers on graphics settings of Off, Medium, or higher, but stops when set to Low. Switching to DX11 or DX12 also eliminates the flickering. A similar issue existed in version 0.1.1 but was limited to a specific material shader. This is considered lower priority since DX11 is the recommended default backend and Intel Arc has very low hardware share.

Vulkan - Light flicker on elevator arrows on min specs PC
Done β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: None β€’ Game: 0.1.0-pre8-rc1 β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

Light flickering occurs on Belt Lift arrows when playing on minimum specification PCs with integrated Intel graphics cards using the Vulkan renderer on Steam. The issue is triggered when the Space Platform graphics setting is set to high. The arrows display flickering disco light effects until the graphics preset is changed to medium. This visual glitch only appears on low-spec hardware and does not occur with other renderer configurations. The issue was resolved as the problematic material c...

Rare display crash condition
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: OLD Early Access β€’ Resolution: Won't Fix

Player experienced a rare system crash after approximately 40 minutes of playtime where all displays went dark and sound output looped. The crash required a hard PC reboot via power button. A second occurrence happened at 2.2 hours of playtime with similar symptoms but game audio continued normally. The issue appears to be system-specific as it also occurs in other games like Victoria 3. Player attempted fixes including disabling fullscreen optimizations, updating graphics drivers, and switch...

Red space belts on Vulkan (low specs)
To Do β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] β€’ Game: 0.1.1

Space Belts appear red when playing shapez 2 on minimum spec PCs with Intel on-board graphics cards using Vulkan rendering mode. The issue was reported by a user with an AMD card who provided their PC specifications. To reproduce, launch the game in Vulkan mode and load the attached save file, then observe the Space Belts appearing red. The expected result is that Space Belts should not appear red when viewed from Space View. This occurs specifically in the release build when using Vulkan.

Space pipe visual glitch
Done β€’ Priority: High β€’ Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] β€’ Resolution: Fix Verified

Space Pipes display a visual glitch where paint fluids always appear to flow into the middle level, regardless of which level they actually came from. The animation incorrectly shows all paint blobs entering through the middle notch on space pipes. This visual issue persists across multiple builds and testing dates. The animation does not accurately represent the actual fluid flow between different machine levels, though the functionality itself may still work correctly.

[0.0.9-rc1] visual glitch after replacing space pipes
Done β€’ Priority: Medium β€’ Fix: Version 0.0.9 β€’ Game: 0.0.9-rc1 β€’ Resolution: Done

A visual glitch occurs at certain zoom levels after replacing Space Pipes with Pipes going in a different direction. The pipes appear correctly when zoomed in close or zoomed out far, but display incorrectly at intermediate zoom levels. This is a graphics rendering issue that affects the visual appearance of pipes after replacement, though the pipes still function properly.

And this I think is a duplicate of a few other reports on discord. One is about just the lights, and the other is about the lights and the crashes.
