Shape Viewer Shape Code tooltip is missing the new shapes and colors added for manufacture mode
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Game: 0.1.1 โข Resolution: Fix Verified
The Shape Inspector's Shape Code tooltip is missing the newer shape types and colors added for Manufacture Mode, as well as the code for black (k). To reproduce, start a new Manufacture Mode savegame, click the pinned shape at the top left of the screen, and hover the cursor over the info icon beside Shape Code. The tooltip should list all current shape codes including the new shapes and black. This issue has been fixed.

Rotator tooltips showing 90 degrees in Hex mode.
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Resolution: Fix Verified
In the Hexagonal scenario, the Rotator and Reverse Rotator tooltips incorrectly state that shapes are rotated 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. Since rotations in Hexagonal mode are 60 degrees, this information is inaccurate. The issue appears in both the toolbar menu and the Shop. The fix removes the specific degree value from the tooltips, replacing it with a generic "rotate" label, and the Codex now uses dynamic text based on the active game mode.

Non-primary colored trains are shown as white trains in the statistics screen
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Resolution: Fix Verified
Non-primary colored Trains are incorrectly displayed as white Trains in the Statistics Panel. Specifically, secondary colored Locomotives (cyan, magenta, and yellow) are counted as white Locomotives, which is actually a tertiary color. The issue can be reproduced by placing one Locomotive of each color and checking the Statistics Panel in the top right corner. The panel shows all secondary color Locomotives grouped under the white color category instead of their actual colors. This causes inc...

map generation only shows one entry in the map customization
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
During Map Generation / World Generation / Seed Customization, only one entry appears in the Map Customization / World Customization panel. All colored Shapes / Items with color variations are missing from the customization options. This prevents players from properly configuring which Shape / Item types and colors will appear in their generated world. The issue has been fixed.
Uncolored option missing from map shape filter in CMYK mode
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Game: 1.0.0-ALPHA3-RC1 โข Resolution: Fix Verified
The Uncolored option is missing from the map shape filter when playing in CMYK color mode. The issue is triggered by switching from RGB to CMYK color mode or by loading a savegame that was previously in RGB mode while now set to CMYK. Under normal RGB conditions the option appears correctly. The expected behavior is that the Uncolored option should be available in the map shape filter regardless of color mode. The root cause was an incorrect translation, and the fix has been verified on the l...

Black and uncolored shapes have missing patterns for color blind mode
QA โข Priority: High โข Fix: Post 1.0
In color blind mode, Black and Uncolored shapes are missing their visual patterns, while Black and Uncolored fluid Signal Producers correctly display patterns. This can be reproduced by starting a Classic Mode save in the Regular scenario, enabling cheats, and placing the affected shapes. The expected behavior is that shapes should have patterns consistent with the fluid Signal Producers. The root cause was that shapes applied the colorblind mask differently than fluids, which caused issues w...
In the case of Shapez2 tertiary colours is only for referencing white.

really? I get that uncoloured wouldn't count as it is the default colour but black should definitely be listed as well (or better yet nothing at all), it's also in the tertiary colour group which exclusively appears with these generation types. Is there a technical reason why it's better to only quote white when clearly black is there too?
We can't change the description right now as translations are already locked in for 1.0
Technically the bug is that black spawns on the map when you enable tertiary colors. While it's strictly (with our mixing system) not a tertiary color but a quaternary.
๐ Our team has determined that we need to have a second look at this bug again.
I think we can use this bug as a reminder to update the description post 1.0 OR remove black from that list. For consistency reasons
Thank you, yeah from a mixing perspective it really is a quaternary, k being accessible without generation types means you could remove it from the list so the description matches.
But then will k appear in ros? ๐ค In the future I'd personally rather have k and not specify w in tertiary, to me knowing this titbit of information for k isn't that important, only very few players would immediately understand but most would be confused.
I mean long term we should probably rework the UI so you can just configure every color individually
yeah that would be great! ๐ well if you are planning on overhauling it then no need to waste time on the minutiae ๐
๐ซ Many thanks for reporting this issue! We have created an internal ticket for further investigation and will keep you updated. The internal ticket ID is SPZ2-5985 for reference. If you want to provide further information, just comment on this thread.
[SPZ2-5985] [10.0.-beta2] Map generation tertiary colours tooltip only says "white" not "white/black
Sure, except that if you turn on "tertiary" colour spawning, you get white, black, and uncoloured patches. And the tooltip only says "white", where the primary and secondary colour tooltips specify all three colours that they add. So even if black and uncoloured aren't "tertiary" colours, it's still a bug that they do appear and the tooltip does not mention them.
Yes. That is what SPZ2-5985 is about ๐
Oh, right. Ignore me. Thanks.
looks around the room....
The whole system will likely be reworked post 1.0 so you can pick colours individually ๐
