Cannot proceed to game from Mods Disclaimer screen
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: None โข Resolution: Done
The game cannot proceed from the Mods Disclaimer screen in shapez 2. After selecting either option to load or not load Mods on the Mods Disclaimer screen and clicking accept, the game fails to load and crashes. The player.log shows a DirectoryNotFoundException where the game cannot find the Mods directory. This prevents players from entering the game after the disclaimer screen. The expected behavior is that the game should load correctly after selecting any option on the Mods Disclaimer screen.
Support Overriding New Savegame creation with Copy of a Savegame for Specific Scenarios
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Resolution: Done
Feature request to allow specific Game Modes to start from a pre-built Savegame instead of creating a new one. This is needed for onboarding content where Game Designers need to create Space Platforms and Structures in advance, then have players load that exact setup when starting certain Scenarios. The system should work through a configurable override in the Unity editor, allowing any Scenario to optionally use an existing Save File. Initially only worked through main menu creation but was ...
Insane mode won't start if the "no straight stacker" challenges option is enabled
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Game: 1.0.0-alpha3-rc1 โข Resolution: Fix Verified
When starting a new Insane scenario with the "no Stacker (Straight)" challenge option enabled, the game fails to load and becomes stuck on a black screen with an infinite loading spinner. The issue prevents players from entering the game and viewing The Vortex as expected. This problem occurs specifically when creating a new save file in Insane mode with this particular challenge setting activated. The issue has been fixed and verified across all difficulty settings.

InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains no elements - HUDMenuSelectScenarioState.StartScenarioConfig
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: None โข Game: 0.0.9-rc6 โข Resolution: Missing Feature
An InvalidOperationException error with the message "Sequence contains no elements" occurs when attempting to start a Game Mode configuration from the menu. The error is triggered specifically in the HUDMenuSelectScenarioState.StartScenarioConfig method when selecting a Game Mode. According to the discussion, this issue is related to custom Game Modes and has been marked as wontfix, meaning it will not be addressed by the developers.
Scenario HUD: InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains no elements
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: None โข Game: 0.1.0-pre4-rc1 โข Resolution: Won't Fix
The Scenario HUD throws an InvalidOperationException with the message "Sequence contains no elements" when a player is building custom Game Scenarios. The error originates from the HUDMenuSelectScenarioState.StartScenarioConfig method when attempting to register or start a Scenario configuration. This exception occurs during the Scenario selection process but has been marked as won't fix since it only affects custom Scenario creation, which is not a supported workflow.
Thank you for the report! @half tinsel Are you still encountering this issue on the beta 2 branch? If so, could you please include more information on the steps you are taking?
We tried testing this on Beta 2 and on an internal build, but as far as I can see the custom parameter is working, applies to the game, and can be loaded after making saves.
it still doesn't work for me on beta2, but I'm specifically talking about custom scenarios, i.e. the feature where you can load your own scenarios from json files ( https://shapez2.wiki.gg/wiki/Custom_Game_Modes#Custom_Scenarios ), is that what you've tested on your side ?
โ Thank you for providing further information, our team will have a look again!
