Not 100% sure this is a bug, but this is slightly annoying.

When clicking a location marker to navigate to the location. The zoom is adjusted using the zoom to cursor setting when the cursor is always on the right of the screen. This makes the screen jump around more.

I think it would be better if the movement/zoom works the same when navigating to a location marker irrespective of the "Zoom to Cursor" setting.

In the attached video you see the difference when navigating to the location, first without the Zoom to Cursor, second with it.

Camera keeps returning to a selected map marker if afterwards zooming out using the scroll wheel if zoom to cursor is set to on
Done โ€ข Priority: Highest โ€ข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โ€ข Resolution: Fix Verified

When the "zoom to cursor" setting is enabled, clicking on a Location Marker and then zooming in and out with the scroll wheel causes the camera to repeatedly snap back to the Location Marker's position instead of following the cursor. This also affects the automatic Space Platform switching feature due to the same underlying position calculation issue. The expected behavior is that zooming to the cursor should take priority over the Location Marker's target position. The fix ensures that the ...

Mouse pointer isn't directly over a Platform it is holding in overview mode when far away from the Vortex
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: Probably Never โ€ข Resolution: Fix Verified

When holding a Space Platform in Space View far from The Vortex, the cursor and the held platform become misaligned. This occurs when zooming out after placing platforms at a great distance from The Vortex, such as at distant superchunk coordinates. The expected behavior is that held platforms should remain aligned with the cursor regardless of distance. The fix involved using double-precision calculations for determining the tile and chunk under the cursor in more scenarios, making the misal...

Switching between map markers can rotate the camera needlessly
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 4 - Early Access โ€ข Resolution: Done

Location Markers save the camera rotation when created but do not normalize the rotation value. When switching between markers that have the same visual angle but different underlying rotation values (e.g., 0 degrees vs 360 degrees), the camera unnecessarily spins to reach the technically different but visually identical rotation. This occurs because camera rotation can extend indefinitely in either direction rather than wrapping around at 0 or 360 degrees. The expected behavior would be to u...

Clicking on distant map marker disables scrolling the map
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: 4 - Early Access โ€ข Resolution: Done

Clicking on a distant Location Marker causes the player to lose the ability to scroll the map using WASD Keybindings or left-click dragging. The issue occurs when jumping to a Location Marker that is far from The Vortex. Mouse wheel zooming and middle-click panning still work. The map control can be restored by returning to The Vortex with H, alt-tabbing out and back, or double-tapping T to open and close the Milestones Screen. This defeats the purpose of Location Markers as players cannot ma...

Camera does not center on Hub when "return to vortex"
Done โ€ข Priority: Low โ€ข Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] โ€ข Resolution: Done

When pressing the H keybinding to return to The Vortex after moving the camera away from the starting Space Platform, the camera fails to center on The Vortex. Depending on the zoom level, The Vortex may not even be visible in the viewport. This occurs in a new savegame after moving the camera away and using the return function. The expected behavior is for the camera to properly center on The Vortex when returning home. This issue has been fixed in a recent build.

Spacebar does not center the view at the Hub
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: 2 - Demo โ€ข Resolution: Done

The Spacebar keybinding does not properly center the camera view on The Vortex when pressed. To reproduce, load a savegame, move the camera away from The Vortex, zoom in, and press the spacebar. Instead of centering on The Vortex as expected, the view is positioned slightly off to the side. The issue has been reported as fixed in the latest version, though the centering may still not be perfectly accurate.
