"Import" button doesn't work on mac
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 1.0.0 Release โข Resolution: Done
The "Import" button on the savegame screen does not work on Mac. Clicking it fails to open a file browser to search for save files on the system. The issue has been identified as a third-party plugin problem. A workaround is to manually place files in the savegames folder. A fix using async file browser methods has been prepared but awaits testing.

Linux: Crashes when choosing the import option in the play menu
To Do โข Priority: High โข Fix: Probably Never โข Game: 1.0.0-beta2
On Linux (specifically Bazzite), shapez 2 crashes when the player clicks the Import option in the play menu. The crash occurs after navigating to Main Menu, then Play, and selecting Import, which should normally open the file manager. This issue reproduces in both fullscreen and windowed modes, ruling out a focus-loss related bug. The problem is not a regression, as it was confirmed to already exist in version 0.1.1. Expected behavior is that clicking Import opens the system file manager with...
AssimpNet mod crashes on Linux due to Steam runtime library conflicts
To Do โข Priority: Highest โข Fix: 1.1.0 Release โข Game: 1.0.2-rc1
The AssimpNet mod causes shapez 2 to crash on Linux due to Steam runtime library conflicts. The crash occurs when starting the game after installing the AssimpNet mod or any mod that depends on it. The error log indicates a DllNotFoundException where the native library could not be loaded. The expected behavior is that shapez 2 on Linux should be able to run with the AssimpNet mod installed without crashing. A potential workaround was suggested by the reporter.

Borderless window mode invokes Save/Import/Show options in the background
Done โข Priority: Low โข Fix: OLD Early Access โข Resolution: Won't Fix
In Borderless window mode, selecting the Download Savegame, Import, or Show folder options from the load menu causes these actions to execute in the background instead of appearing in the foreground. The issue occurs when a player goes to Settings, enables Borderless window mode, then accesses the load menu from the main menu and clicks any of these options. A black screen may appear, making it unclear to the player that any action is occurring. The expected behavior is that these dialogs sho...
Savegame IMPORT and SHOW FOLDER are mixed up
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
The Savegame / Save / Save file / Save game IMPORT and SHOW FOLDER buttons have their functions swapped in the UI. When clicking the IMPORT button, it incorrectly opens the folder explorer / file browser instead of the import dialog. When clicking the SHOW FOLDER button, it incorrectly opens the import explorer / savegame import dialog instead of showing the save folder location. The two button actions are reversed from their expected behavior. This has been verified as fixed.
