I was trying to copy-paste an shape code RuRgRgRu for a new icon in the save blueprint interface and the game replaces my clipboard with the new blueprint code i believe.
To replicate: Copy a text string, click on a foundation while in zoom out mode, click the save blueprint icon, try to paste it into name or new icon mode.

Using the "Save Blueprint" feature will overwrite the clipboard
Done • Priority: Low • Fix: OLD Early Access • Resolution: Won't Fix

When using the Save Blueprint feature or pressing Ctrl+S to save structures or Space Platforms, the current clipboard contents get overwritten with the selected structure data. This occurs whenever the player attempts to save a blueprint, regardless of whether they have previously copied something using the Copy feature. The player expected the clipboard to remain unchanged when saving blueprints. However, this is intended behavior and can be disabled in the settings.

Blueprint with different icons not copied to clipboard
Done • Priority: Medium • Fix: 4 - Early Access • Resolution: Done

When the copy to clipboard setting is enabled, using Pipette on a Structure with custom icons and then using Copy/Paste on that Structure fails to copy the new Shape Code to the clipboard, even though the Structure has different icons and therefore a different Shape Code. The expected behavior is that the different Shape Code should be copied to the clipboard when the icons differ.

afaik this is intentional, you can disable this behavior by turning off the 'copy blueprints to clipboard' setting
