Hexagonal scenario has cutter as side upgrade while it's already unlocked from the beginning
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] โข Resolution: Done
In Hexagonal scenario, the Cutter appears as a Job reward even though it is already unlocked from the start of the game. This creates a redundant upgrade offering since players already have access to the Cutter building. The expected behavior is that only locked buildings should appear as Job rewards, not ones that are already available for placement.
Hexagonal mode doesn't have halves destroyer upgrade
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] โข Resolution: Done
In Hexagonal mode, the Half Cutter upgrade is missing from the research tree or shop. This prevents players from unlocking the Half Cutter machine, which is used to destroy half of a shape while processing. The issue has been identified and fixed in the latest master build. Players expect to be able to research and use the Half Cutter in Hexagonal mode just like in other game modes.
Classic Hex mode investigation checks
To Do โข Priority: Low โข Fix: None
This is an investigation checklist for Classic Hexagonal scenario to identify bugs, challenges, and quality-of-life issues unique to hex mode. The focus is on verifying that machines and tools function correctly with 6-sided shapes instead of the standard 4-sided ones. Testers should progress through milestones using debug commands, unlock shop technologies and jobs, and check for conflicting information carried over from other difficulty settings. Any bugs found should be logged with a note ...
'No full cutter' rule disables some other optional rules in hex mode
To Do โข Priority: Low โข Fix: None
When activating the no Cutter optional Challenge in the Hexagonal mode, other optional Challenges that are activated will not work and can still be used. Specifically, the No Split and No Trash Challenges do not function when combined with the no Cutter Challenge. To reproduce, create a new game in Hexagonal mode with the no Cutter Challenge and either No Split or No Trash active, then start the game. The Trash remains available and Split can still be built despite the Challenges being enable...

Only 3 levels of tasks are unlocked on hexagonal mode
Done โข Priority: Highest โข Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] โข Game: 0.1.0-pre3-rc1 โข Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
In Hexagonal mode, only 3 levels of Jobs are unlocked and players cannot progress beyond the 3rd Job even after reaching Milestone 2. The remaining Jobs stay blocked, preventing players from earning Research Credits needed to upgrade their Machines. The issue was reported on the Steam release, but QA could not reproduce it on the latest master build where Job #4 and further tasks unlocked as expected after completing Milestone Deliveries to The Vortex.
seems like it's due to some of the common data between scenarios being merged together (i.e. the building changing name just changes a string in the translations, and the building's ID that is used in the scenario definitions remains the same)
That is intentional, to make it more like the other classic modes.
