When setting patch likelihood for fluid & shape asteroids to 0% in manufacture mode, no green fluid asteroids generate close to spawn. There should be a least one hard-coded patch to prevent an incompletable save.

When the Shape Asteroid Extraction Spots Likeliness slider is moved to 100% and then back to 0% in the Map Generation settings during new game creation, all Shape Asteroids disappear from the map. red shape asteroid not in starting sector (4 sectors away)

In a specific seed on Alpha 20, the red Shape Asteroid was not present in the starting sector and was located 4 sectors away. This prevented the player from completing Milestone 7 because red Shapes were required but unavailable for mining in the accessible area. The issue appears to be seed-specific and related to map generation. It has been fixed with new mapgen implementation but could not be verified since it only occurred with that particular seed.

For factory mode shape and liquid asteroids are too small in the immediate surrounding areas of the center of the map

In Manufacture Mode, Shape Asteroids and Fluid Asteroids near the Waste Provider at the center of the map are too small. This occurs when starting a new game in Manufacture Mode with the Founder's Journey scenario and examining the Map Generation view. The Extraction Spots in the immediate surrounding areas of the center should be larger to provide adequate resources. The issue has been fixed and verified in version 1.0.0-alpha3-rc1.
