Area placers are broken with irregular tile structures

Area Selection was broken when used with irregular tile structures like L-shaped Space Platforms. When attempting to drag and place these irregular shapes, the area placer would not work correctly. The issue affected the placement behavior and consistency when working with non-standard platform configurations. The area placer was reimplemented to work deterministically with irregularly shaped structures, though it no longer creates compact arrangements.
[0.0.9-rc4] No color indications when placing mirrored versions of simulated buildings

When placing a mirrored variant of a simulated building (specifically simulated stacker or simulated unstacker) on top of a non-mirrored version or vice versa, the cursor shows a blue shade indicating a perfect match instead of the expected yellow shade for replacement indication. The issue was reported in version 0.0.9-rc4 but could not be reproduced in the latest master build, where the mirrored version correctly highlights as yellow or red depending on the situation.
Simulated Buildings conflicts not shown as conflicts

Simulated Buildings such as Rotator and unstacker do not properly display Conflict when their Output is connected to their Input. Instead of showing a Conflict, the Signal propagates through the circuit, causing flickering. The expected behavior is that this circular connection should be detected and displayed as a Conflicting Signal, similar to how conflicts are handled in regular Wire systems. This issue was marked as Won't Fix as of November 13, 2025.
Simulated swapper not working correctly

The Simulated Swapper only displays one of the two swapped shapes on connected Displays instead of showing both output shapes. The naming of the Simulated Buildings virtual versions is inconsistent with their physical Structure counterparts. The regular Structure is called Half Cutter, but the Simulated Buildings version is called halves destroyer.
