[1.0.0-A3-RC1] the train launcher/catcher can directly replace anything without press Shift
Placing belt launcher will overwrite existing objects at Catcher location
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
Placing a Belt Launcher that causes its paired Belt Catcher to overlap an existing structure will incorrectly overwrite and remove that structure without showing a placement error. The issue occurs when the previewed catcher location targets an occupied tile. Expected behavior is to follow standard replacement rules: only allow replacement when holding Shift, or when performing non-destructive replacements like replacing belts. The bug bypasses the normal placement validation that would preve...
Red 'X' shown on catcher placement area when placing launcher while overlapping a belt
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: Dimension Update Patch 1 [0.1.1] โข Resolution: Done
When placing a Belt Launcher, Train Launcher, Fluid Launcher, or Wire Launcher over an existing structure, a red 'X' incorrectly appears on the placement area for the corresponding Catcher. This visual bug occurs in Machine View when the Launcher overlaps and replaces any existing structure or Conveyor Belt. The issue affects all Launcher types except Train Launcher. The red 'X' suggests invalid placement even though the Launcher can be successfully built and will override the existing struct...
Rail replaces Loader/Unloader
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 4 - Early Access โข Resolution: Done
When placing and dragging Rail to connect a Shape Wagon Loader and Shape Wagon Unloader at a Train Station, if the Rail is placed over the existing Train Station rail, it incorrectly replaces the Train Station components. The expected behavior is that the Rail should connect to the station without destroying it. This prevents proper train station setup when extending rail connections. The issue has been verified as fixed.
Path placement doesn't "use" launchers
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0] โข Game: 15.48.32 โข Resolution: Done
Path Placement does not utilize Launchers when placing paths. The Placement considers the Belt Launcher, Fluid Launcher, and Train Launcher and fails to override them during path placement. This prevents paths from being placed over or through existing Launcher structures. The issue could not be reproduced in testing on the latest master build from November 14, 2025.
Rails shouldn't turn to Launchers when dragging over Loaders/Unloaders
Done โข Priority: Medium โข Fix: Future โข Resolution: Done
When dragging Rails over Shape Wagon Loaders, Fluid Wagon Loaders, Shape Wagon Unloaders, or Fluid Wagon Unloaders, the Rails incorrectly convert into Train Launchers. This happens during the rail placement process when the cursor passes over these loader or unloader structures. The expected behavior is that Rails should remain as Rails and not automatically change to Train Launchers when dragging over these Train Station components. This issue has been fixed in version 0.0.8 and the master b...
Belt Catcher placement places Belt Launcher
Done โข Priority: High โข Fix: 4.1 - EA Prototype โข Resolution: Done
When placing a Belt Catcher, the game incorrectly places a Belt Launcher instead. This occurs during the normal placement action of selecting and placing a Belt Catcher structure. The expected behavior is that placing a Belt Catcher should result in a Belt Catcher being built, not a Belt Launcher. This represents a placement bug where the wrong building variant is spawned.
