I placed a space fluid pipe such that it went under another space conveyor, and the usual orange arrow on its side was flashing RGB.
Soon after I got a hard crash with monitors blacked out, and I had to reset the PC. Restarting the game with the same save led to a lesser game crash.

If you change the settings to medium, does it go away?
Also are you using Vulkan? If so how does it run using Directx11
I would say that it seems like a duplicate of @light turtle indicated, but that crashing is concerning.

I think it turned out to be Vulkan. Since moving to Normal, it seems fine!

For your crashing issues:
I recommend doing a ram check using memtest86
And if you have an Intel CPU that was 13th and 14th Generation, they were having issues a few years back which could cause crashing issues like what you mentioned
