I just stumbled upon that and it tickled me...
All Tasks of Regular Mode display the Block Reward to the bottom right of each task step. (like 1st screenshot).
Most Tasks in Hard mode display the Research Reward to the bottom right of each task step. (like 2nd screenshot). The exceptions are : #33, #34, #35, #40, #41.
Most Tasks in Insane mode display the Research Reward to the bottom right of each task step. (like 2nd screenshot). The exceptions are : #26, #27, #32, #33.
All Tasks of Hexagonal Mode display the Block Reward to the bottom right of each task step. (like 1st screenshot).
